Everything was fabulous from the sweet potato biscuits with maple butter, shepherds pie, lemon chicken bowl with feta cheese and edamame and bread pudding. Perfect evening sitting outside. Our waitress was awesome.

I have been going to Mosaic for a long time. I ordered my old standby- Sesame Chicken Salad. It was absolutely a different recipe than even two months ago. And the cheese dip appetizer was different as well. Neither change was a positive in my opinion.

My entree..Shrimp & Grits was only so so. The shrimp were great. Grits not so great. And not pretty played. Iced tea only had orange an d cinnamon. Next entre asked for aioli on side but came on the sandwich. 3 of the entree’s were good, those were the bowls. Then the two of us that wanted dessert couldn’t get what we wanted. Wouldn’t have been a problem but waiter had no clue. Manager comped a drink and gave us an extra dessert. I’ll go back but it be awhile

It took 20 minutes to get drinks. When we did get them it’s because I asked. Then two of three meals were delivered and after 10 minutes I again had to ask for mine, no update was offered. The meal was missing vegetables, again I asked one person, they never got back to me and another person brought them out and told me they were just sitting back there. The check took forever, we had to ask for it and it was wrong. The experience was not at all what we’ve come to know from Mosaic!

Clearly our server never put our order in. We had ordered an appetizer that never showed up. After 30 minutes, she told us it had been given to another table. She offered to bring it at the same time as the entree and we told her to forget the appetizer . After 45 minutes, we saw a nearby table being served dinner and they had arrived long after we were seated. After complaining to the hostess the manager came over and said the meal was on the house. And the server apologized but it didn’t make up for an unpleasant experience.

We arrived promptly for our 7:30 reservation and it took 5 minutes for someone to seat us. 15 minutes later, someone poured us tepid water but did not offer to take drink orders. A server finally came by who seemed flustered and caught off guard. We put in drink orders - but still did not have them 15 minutes later. We could see the bar from our table. The bartender was talking to a patron the entire time and seemed oblivious to the order. The server returned to the table empty handed and proceeded to apologize, saying that they were extremely backed up (yeah right). We got up and left at this point.

We enjoyed eating outside on the patio. The ancient grains bowl and the shrimp and grits were both delicious and large portions (we both ate about half of the serving). The servicer was attentive and helpful.

I bought gift cards for three family members and we all celebrated our birthdays. We had a little one (3) with us and she loved ordering from the kids menu! My salad was very good and the blt was excellent. Our waitress was lovely and attentive!!!

My portobello burger was juicy, well seasoned, and delicious. It was not hand held food, because it was so juicy. I love the dressing on the side lettuce. My friend had a tomato stack, and that was very good, also.

Had a reservation for brunch at 11:45. The hostess sat 3+ walk-ins before us and then said she couldn't seat us due to not having menus. We were sat 30 mins after our reservation time, waited another 15-20 mins for someone to come to the table. Once we ordered, it took over 45 mins to get our drinks... a mimosa and cup of coffee... and then the food came out after about an hour. And before the two drinks. Really poor experience for somewhere that pricey.

After many years of dining at Mosaic and attending their catered events, my last 2 visits to the restaurant have been a disappointment. Yesterday, I had ordered the Strawberry Fields Salad. The greens were fresh enough, strawberries not the best but not terrible, feta almost non existent, a very few walnuts and the dressing was fine. I topped it with grilled chicken which was an additional $6, it was dry and over cooked although the portion was good. So I had $21 very mediocre salad. Not the value I would expect and no where near the quality that Mosaic has been in years past. It is convenient to get to, great parking and a great vibe plus nice outdoor seating. I am hesitantly willing to give it one more try.

I think Mosaic is going through some changes. It used to be so busy but is not any longer. It took over 30 minutes to get our food and our food was very simple. . It was not the fault of our server, who was very apologetic. We will give it another chance since it has been one of our favorites through the years. I hope it will improve.

I’ve been here many times and would have given 5 stars. But last night - celebrating our anniversary was so disappointing. It took 40 minutes for me to get my glass of wine and our meal came about 5 minutes later. My salad did not have wonton crisps.
