   New menu, which replaced some items, and substituted some similar items. Ordered from memory, disappointed in remake of previously available menu items. Brought this to managers attention, but didn’t complain, more informational.  got apologies, but in my opinion, the management missed an opportunity to provide some kind of accommodation and keep us coming back. Fundamental misstep in my opinion.

   Disappointing visit today. The one positive was the service—our waiter was excellent, attentive, and friendly. Unfortunately, the food was a real letdown. The Caesar salads looked like they were made from week-old, pre-cut lettuce straight out of a bag. Not fresh at all. The biggest disappointment was the steak. It was the most expensive item on the menu, yet it was a half-inch-thin ribeye that was mostly fat. While we expect marbling in a ribeye, this looked more like a pre-packaged grocery store cut than something prepared by a proper butcher. To the restaurants credit, they took that off the bill, but overall it left us hungry.

   An unexpected gem. We were traveling north on I-5 for a 3-day trip and chose to spend one night in Redding. We researched restaurants and chose Mosaic. We're glad we did. Menu, food, service, wine list were all just what we were looking for.

   Our service was excellent. Although our food delivery to the table may have been slower, our dinner was social in nature so the timing worked great. The food quality and presentation was good, although we had some components that fell short. A lower sodium option suggestion didn’t work out (salmon), same with the dessert (whiskey cake) - both very salty. A side order of fries was unappetizing (limp).

   Three of us had planned a Friday evening dinner and decided to visit Mosaic Restaurant. Our waiter was excellent and extremely attentive. The restaurant was busy, but we were served in a very timely manner. The presentation and plating was fabulous and all 3 of our meals were wonderful. We will definitely be back and I would highly recommend Mosaic!!

    The service was very slow. The food and wine were good but rather overpriced. The restaurant was convenient since we were staying at the hotel, but we will probably choose somewhere else to eat next time we’re in Redding.
