Filet Mignon Trio
Food and selection not great, just okay. For the price you would expect much better presented and prepared.
Expensive but well worth the price! The experience and ambience of the restaurant transports you away from the rest of world. As jazz plays in the background your table is Ivorians with padded tables and white linen. A flickering candle sets the mood in the center of your table.
The food is superb from the fresh baked onion rolls with the choice of whipped butters then the appetizers until the last bite of the entree. Our waiter was very attentive and informative regarding the meal and menu.
Can’t wait to return to try something new on the menu to experience the Morton’s version of well known dishes.
Clearly not the normal top shelf experience I'm accustomed to having at Morton's. Not sure if it was the Covid thing or the fact that I got the steak and lobster special on a crowded night. Waited for a table even though I had a reservation. Dinner was somewhat rushed. Steak quality not as high as usual. Side dishes arrived several minutes after entrée. Ramekin of barely warm butter instead of traditional heated butter. Server was fine but the overall experience was just not up to par.
Always a great meal and service. Our server, Faith, was perfectly attentive and the General Manager, Matt, does a great job on making sure everything is going well!
It was my husbands birthday and I thought we would check out Morton’s as we haven’t been in years ( had bad experience in the past so we’ve been going elsewhere). When we.checked in, the waitress wished my husband a happy bday and it was on our menus. Very nice!
Things seemed to go downhill when I asked for the restaurant week menu. I’m going to assume we were stereotyped as not having money or something along those lines. The fact of the matter is that if I can get 3 courses for the price of just a normal steak, why wouldn’t I do that? And the stereotype was wrong as we eat out often & tip well when
treated well. Anyway, it was a long night of waiting for everything. Granted she was busy (we sat in the bar) but I can tell you we definitely felt like the very last priority as she chatted with other guests and found other things to do. It took an enormous amount of time just to get a carry out box.
Food was fine. I didn’t know the house salad came with anchovies as there was no description on menu. That was 2 bites and done. My husbands Caesar was good. We were given each other’s steaks, but we figured it out and swapped. My steak was a bit over seasoned but not terrible. Mashed potatoes were good. Creamed spinach just average. We asked for dessert to go as I honestly couldn’t stand to have to wait any longer for the last portion of our meal as well as the bill.
There are so many great steak places to go that we will never be back. This is our second bad experience and that’s enough for me.
We made a reservation at the Troy MI location during restaurant week. Social distancing was very good.
Our server Ted did a great job and our meals were delicious.
Restaurant week prix fixe menu. Excellent value. Waiter, Chris, was very attentive and knowledgeable.
My 2 dining companions and I decided we'd each order a different item for each course so we could share and try them all.
Surprisingly the pork chop was the overall favorite, crispy on the outside, melt in your mouth on the inside.
Key lime pie was the dessert winner.
Can't wait to go back again.
Morton’s use to be one of my favorite places for dinner. I was very disappointed this time. The food was okay, the service was okay. For the price you pay, I was expecting a much better dinner and experience. Not sure if the change is due to COVID, but I would not recommend going now.
our server Faith was outstanding food was delicious
It was our first time there and the food was awesome service was awesome.
Morton’s is wonderful. Great dining experience. They need to bring back the hash browns and the au gratin cauliflower. We miss them.
Service not up to Morton's standards. 20 minutes for our drinks to arrive. Steaks and sides were great as always. Just felt like they were understaffed. Clearly the regulars get treated differently as we ordered our drinks, then the couple next to us seated. Before our drinks arrived the other couple had wine and appetizers.
Excellent service and food! Food tasted fresh. Love the wedge salad.... the best!
Had birthday for step son there. It was pretty good-little overboard on dress code policy as they told my wife to take her sweatshirt off as it had a hoodie?
The food was good but not the best I have had. Tasty ribeye but not as good as Cao Italian bistro in Fenton Michigan and I think Ruth Chris was better
But all in all a good experience
Cajun Ribeye along with Baked Patato. Very Simple Menu.
The waiter, Marcus, was wonderful. Great food and wonderful experience.
Great. Although the spinach dish wasn’t what we hoped. Also, looking forward to whenever the full menu is back.
The food was pretty good, I wasn’t crazy about the steak. The Lobster Mac was divine however. For a steak house and especially with Covid it was still a very nice dining experience. Our waiter was a bit slow, he could have been much better seeing how the restaurant wasn’t really crowded.
Everyone is bad days. Won’t stop us from coming back!
We ordered a steak came out well done. It was ordered Med rare.
Sent it back.
New steak come out well done.
At this point we had finished our sides. Told her to keep the steak and take it off our bill.
This was the first time in about 3 years we had been there.
Had two previous bad experiences there.
Lettuce was spoiled once and our crab legs came out frozen.
We also own a restaurant and watched you cooks playing catch with baked potato’s.
With beards and no nets covering them.
We were hoping they had cleaned up their act.
We will not be back there.
Eddie V’s is a much better choice.
Food and service is always great love dining here for anniversary and special occasions
Fast service and the food is always amazing and high quality.
Steaks were cooked perfectly and our server in the bar area was Sara and she was amazing!
Well Done Morton's!
Felt very safe dining out during covid. Special protection separating booths without effecting ambiance. Zeek was a great waiter.
Staff was so friendly! Food amazing
Great steak awesome manager and waittress! Matt was wonderful
Everything was really good kind of cold as in temperature in the building
James our waiter made My Best friends Birthday everything I hope for and Amazing Night at Morton’s with a wonderful meal!
Thanks to all the Staff!
Absolutely amazing and some of the best food I’ve had in quite awhile.
The experience was nothing close to what I am use to from Morton’s. The manager was a bit short. Our reservation was for 6:15 we were seated at 6:45. We were told our table was being prepared to later be told the table was waiting for other to leave.
The service was amazing. The steak was not flavorable as in past visits.
I will not be returning to Morton’s. It was once my favorite not anymore. We wasted a birthday celebration here.
Amazing food and amazing service made for a very special anniversary!
Ordered 2 lobster bisque & got one. By the time I ate mine my boyfriends finally got to the table. My steak came out cold. & I would not recommend the Waygu meatballs. Other than that it was good.
My boyfriend & I asked for well done beef, they brung them out bleeding. Twice, after sending them back!
10 year anniversary
We had reservations for 6:30 but didn’t get seated until after 7. Had to ask our waitress several times to take our order. Took over 10 minutes to get our bill. One of the managers walked around without a mask. In general we won’t go back. It’s no Capital Grille.
Had another great time at Morton’s. Had a bit of a wait with a reservation but being busy at this time (COVID) was a good thing.
Zeke was our waiter & did a great job at service.
What perfect evening. Food and service was great
Food was burnt, another gentlemen had his steak raw inside. Cold and uncooked.
When told about this the chef threw it back on the grill just to burn it.
