Morton's was running a 3 course special. The choices were great. Food was prepared as expected and was delicious. Our waiter, Ryan, was friendly and knowledgeable. This was a delightful evening. My friend and I enjoyed it very much.
Have been to a lot of Morton's over the last 35 years and this one in particular just happens to be a bit better than some others. I still think the original Chicago locaiton is the best but this one is very good.
I was visiting family in San Diego. I wanted a good experience for them, and Morton’s never disappoints! Excellent service and food was great!
Celebrated our son's 18th birthday here. Great decision, as we were well taken care of and everyone there made it a memorable experience for him. Thank you and highly recommend.
Prices are high but quality of food is good
It would be nice not to have everything a la carte.
I love this place! It’s the first place I think of when it comes to a special night out. Can’t go wrong with ordering from their menu.
We came here on a Saturday evening, the day after Valentines day to celebrate. We got seated in the back room beyond the bar. The room itself was very plain... black walls with a few colorful portraits. They had a large party seated along the wall, and we were initially seated near them... we immediately asked to move to a different table. It was better, but at times they were extremely loud. Lance was our server. We ordered drinks, apps, main course and dessert. The food was amazing. We loved everything, some a little more. Definitely recommend Cajun rib eye, Chicken Christopher for main courses. We could've done without the loud noisy group... I'm sure the rest of the room felt the same way.
This is the #1 restaurant in San Diego !!! By far
We had an amazing meal and fantastic service ..
the quality of steaks are the best you can order anywhere, the lobster, tuna tower and other sea foods are absolutely delicious. But what makes my mouth water is the chilean sea bass. Our server Jennifer, was the best, she had a great personality, she was bubbly and was there when we needed it. our glasses were always full. The manager Tim is always a delightful person and comes around to the tables to reassure the quality of your experience is at the upmost. Thank You Mortons
Delicious food, great friendly service, our table was always kept clean this is one point very important, most restaurant don’t clean until you finish your hole dinner, and its very uncomfortable keeping all plates on table! So we give 5 stars to Mortons restaurant.
Food was great! Just had to wait 30 minutes for our table but it was valentines we understand. Also, another couple that had their reservation at the same time than us (but arrived 15 minutes later) got their table before us. So just something to keep an eye on.

Without drinks, but with tax and tip, the bill came to just over $200. We arrived at 4:30 p.m. on Valentine's Day, admittedly a day that is busy for restaurants. I'm guessing we waited 30 – 45 minutes between our salad and our main course. My wife's prime ribeye steak ($54) had a very good flavor, but it was tough. My wife, a real steak lover, noted that she would typically have received a better, more tender piece of beef with Costco's choice (not prime) cut. It wasn't a bad evening, but for more than $100 per person, we just have higher expectations.

We’ve been to Morton’s before at different locations throughout the U.S. and Our experience at the Denver location as well as this location was very mediocre in the taste as well as presentation of our dinner, running out of sides, and the bar cocktails. The best things about this location in San Diego was the service, the onion bread and the appetizer. A bad experience out of many amazing ones will not deter us from dining at another Morton’s in the future.
It's hard not to love Morton's San Diego!
They make you feel at home and spoil you from the start of your meal till you finish!

Mortons is a great place to celebrate a Birthday if your true blue lover of steakhouses. From the seafood tower (half) to the black truffle butter steak, everything was on point. Mortons isn't cheap, but feels like its worth it. The Maitre d' was excellent and personable and wine selection excellent. Only complaint was our waitress seemed to want to rush us then when caught on she straddled the line of helpful to condescending.
All in all, was a great meal and will be back.

Quite delicious food.
High end steak house in every respect, including cost. Our meal for two during Restaurant Week totaled $174 (including a $35 corkage charge for our own wine, 2 coffees & a 15% tip). But then, everything about the meal was top notch, reconfirming the adage, "You get what you pay for." On the other hand, it's doubtful that their $19 charge for valet parking (if you are unable to find a free space) is any better than the $8 valet tab at other downtown eateries.

Great steaks....very good value during restaurant week...Morton’s brand has been around a long time and
maybe not as flashy as some of newer steak houses but if you want a wonderful filet with creamed spinach
and baked potato..chocolate mousse or key lime pie... you will never be disappointed at Mortons
Despite a 7PM Friday night reservation during restaurant week and a packed restaurant, the service was amazing (Greg our server was courteous, knowledgeable and we didn’t feel rushed as all) and food was consistently delicious.
Best steak I’ve ever had. The atmosphere was incomparable and the service was unremarkable!

This visit was for restaurant week and it was pretty disappointing. We have dined at Morton’s before and received outstanding service from Jen and Alicia. They customized our dinner for us and had exceptional attention to detail, even asking what kind of ice we wanted in our cocktails. This time we had to specifically request to see the restaurant week menu, which is a little gross. Participating in restaurant week is voluntary, so if you’re going to try to hide the fact that you’re participating it just makes no sense. We watched the tables around us doing the same. Not a good way to start a dining experience. Once we requested the restaurant week menu our server pretty much disappeared. Nowhere near the same level of service as our previous visits. While the food was still delicious it really took away from the experience to have such sub par service. I recommend that management re-evaluate how they approach restaurant week and train their staff accordingly.
It was a Birthday celebration for my husband. Our waiter was excellent and we were seated right away even though we were early. Our food was absolutely delicious and everything was perfect.
We had a great Date night, we came out to enjoy some steak 🥩 and lobster 🦞.. and both of Us had it. We enjoyed that everyone was friendly and the manager came and made sure everything was great as well. Love this place and will be back again soon.

I took my boyfriend to Morton’s for his birthday and we couldn’t be more pleased with everything from the service the moment we arrived to the price. Our server was very knowledgeable and absolutely hysterical. The food was perfect. No better way to describe it. The food suggestions were on point with my wine and my boyfriend had an amazing time. If you plan on eating here, ask for Nathan! You won’t regret it :)
