Our waitperson was excellent but serving too many tables. My husband's steak was great (14 oz bone-in ribeye) but mine was not anything special. We were disappointed in the meal as a whole, especially since our bill was over $350 for two ( drinks included.)
Morton's continues to be one of the best steakhouses i've ever been at. Surpassing the even Perry's or the double eagle steakhouse Del Frisco's at some point. Food is great overall, but I feel like a salad should come standard with a steak/entree of your choice.
What continues to disappoint me is the cost of the food and their continuing resolution to not pay their employees accordingly. Wages for servers, bartenders, and the like has not changed or increased in the past 15 years(per average) and the expectation is for me to pay them. The expectation is for me to front the bill instead of the company paying them what they are owed. Morton's needs to step up and be a leader in this space.

Mortons is always reliable. The food was good, the service was lacking. It took forever to get our order taken, and the busser had no clue how to serve, handing plates across people or just putting them down. But one can always count on a great steak and that is usually enough.
We had 7 pm reservations on Jan 24th for a birthday celebration. We were a party of three. We were seated promptly. The waitstaff was courteous. Our order was in at 7:30. The food was out at 9pm. Very disappointed. There was a very large private party occurring at that time. The food was good but the wait was awful. For being a high end restaurant not worth it. The decor was also dated, dark and very loud. I live in SA and will never return. Never saw the manager apologize that day for awful service. The waitstaff was understanding but things out of their hands. Valet parking is $6. We had no issues with parking attendant.
Yesterday I did receive a phone call from the manager who did apologize for all that happened that day. Apparently, Management realized the dining experience for all patrons that day was poor. I know that things can happen beyond their control but when someone is paying top dollar for a dining experience, expectations are high. This experience is what I would expect from a large chain restaurant.

Steak was great, as was the rest of the food!! The service was really good also. We enjoyed trying them out during restaurant week. Only down side was no free valet parking. You either had to pay the valet to park your car and tip or park in the garage and go through the mall. Most upscale restaurants in town offer free valet. Also, the noise level was too high....music too loud causing people to tap louder.

I UNDERSTAND THAT THIS IS AN EXPERIENCE THAT IS UNMATCHED. I THINK PRICES ARE A LITTLE EXCESSIVE AND ESPECIALLY ON DRINKS. GREAT EXPERIENCE BUT ONCE IN A LIFETIME DUE TO COST.

This restaurant used to be very crowded and good, but not anymore. Probably only 10% of the tables were occupied.
The porkchops were very salty and dry. So salty they burned my mouth. Furthermore the asparagus had balsamic vinegar on it. We sent it back to get other asparagus with out balsamic, so they sent us asparagus that had the balsamic wiped off.
Ordered cream Brulé for dessert. The table next to us had been served it and it looked delicious. The waiter took our order in came back after a while and said they had no cream Brulé tonight. I then asked what were they eating at the next table and he said cream brûlée. I asked why do they get it and not us? He answered that too many people were ordering this and what was left in the kitchen was substandard. I find this hard to believe since very few people were there.
I won’t be back. I don’t know what happened to this restaurant. Maybe it’s Landry’s influence.

Went for restaurant week. Had not been to location in San Antonio and someone gave us gift cards. Food was good.
My only complaint is that they rushed us. There was no time between salad and main course . Wasn’t relaxing so we decided to take our desserts home(came

Ian the bar tender is professional and thoroughly engaging. Service and attention to detail were both exceptional. Ambiance was spot on with an ability to have productive business conversations over high value exceptional quality wines. Food delivery had the right amount of pomp and circumstance and was served to meet highest expectations.
The Hostess was clearly unqualified for her job we made reservations for 7:15 and were not seated til well after 7:30 as were many other people she was rude as though it was all of our faults she was behind! Some group ahead of us left because of her rudeness. Our waiter Charles was in such every time he stopped by our table as though is was a chore to get us the things we needed. I am a Landrys select member and wanted to use the numerous points I have earned and I even mentioned that to him and he missed that as well ! The food was incredible though! Hats off to the chef ! Too bad for such awful service!

This place is so amazing. It is expensive but it is the best food you’ll ever have. Our only disappointment was the asparagus was cold both on the plate it came with the dinner and the side dish. We also wished our server had told us the plate was going to come with asparagus as we would’ve ordered a different side dish. The steaks were cooked to perfection and were fabulous.

We were seated right away, but they did not have creme de cassis for my wife’s kid royale aperitif and only CA Wines by the glass.
Our appetizers and salads came right away, but there was a 30 minute pause for our main courses and my plate (pepper steak) was cold.
While the manager was visiting tables close to us while we were waiting and our waiter only came by two times, just saying the kitchen was jammed up, the manager waited until we received our main course and was not aware of our wait, so I figured it was not worth any comment.
Other tables seated after us had their main courses well before ours arrived.
The bill had to be worked twice and the printout did not list my birthday reward and since we paid with a Morton’s eGift Card we received no rewards points. O have a question in with Landry Selleck Club on this.
We were treated well but our waiter (BQT07) was always apologizing and hesitant and his asssitant (Nic) never identified himself.
We eat here every time we are back in town and have not ever had bad service or food. New Years Eve was no exception. We never feel rushed here and always are free to take our time eating.

We had family time on Christmas Day. Waiter was great—-very helpful and professional. Food was great with one of our family declaring it was the best meal she had ever had. We arrived a bit early and were seated immediately. Great job Morton’s. Thanks!!
