Morton's The Steakhouse - Rosemont
Book your next event with us
Morton’s is a quite little gem in Rosemont! I had the Caesar salad and my husband had the Morton’s salad which comes with his favorite anchovies! We both had the 6 ounce fillet along with the horseradish whipped potatoes and the broccoli. Usually we get the Brussel sprouts which are outstanding. I had the Key Lime pie for dessert and my husband the chocolate mousse. I love their chocolate lava cake which is made to order so you have to let them know when you order your entree. It’s delicious! They have a nice arrangement of wine and we tried a Pinot Noir the manager suggested and we were not disappointed. Check out their special for Restaurant week!
Great Service. Great food. Great ambiance. I will be back. This was my second time and it was just as great as the first time. Thank you.
The best as always!!
Great service and made our anniversary a little extra special with custom menus and complimentary desert.
Excellent service with a smile!
Love Morton’s every time. Excellent food and service. Thank you to the management for accommodating us through other patrons that were not so appropriate to the setting.
Our server was great and the food was delicious. Our group of 4 had a great time.
Amazing waiter, amazing food, just amazing!
Felt very rushed. Even though we said that we were NOT going to a show, they rushed us through our meal making it one of the worst Morton experiences that we have had.
I should say that we go to Morton's everytime we travel and are Reward members visiting 12 locations previously. This, however, was our first in the Chicago area.
We just moved to Illinois and wanted to celebrate by going to our local Morton's in our new city. It will also probably be our last time here.
Service not up to Morton standard. Originally ordered a glass of Chandon champagne then changed my mind to a Kir Royale. Drink came out and it was definitely not Chandon, very sweet, had to be a prosecco or moscato. That could be my fault, but since I originally ordered a name brand, I would think you would assume that I still wanted that brand.
Food was good as always, but not enjoyable when you can't even take a breath or have some wine before the next course comes. Again, I don't blame the kitchen, it is all on the waiter.
Ambiance, dinner was down stairs. Everything gray and black. Personally, I love the old Morton's with the old wood, always had such an elegant feel. This gray and black contemporary vibe I can get anywhere. I want the opulence and prestige of a time almost forgotten. Thank God the 21 Club is still around.
It was my birthday and they printed my name on the menu, how intimate!!! Everything was perfect!! I definitely would suggest this place for a special occasion!!!
Staff was very attentive to my party of people , went above and beyond to help my mom who uses a walker sometimes to get around , food was very favorable, will be returning here in the future
One of the best steaks I have ever had! Can’t wait to go back
Five stars all around as always.
Steaks were over cooked and did not meet what I would expect for the price. Waitstaff was inexperienced. Bill was wrong. Holistically not worth the price.
Thank you to Patrick and the entire Morton’s staff, for making our family Christmas dinner absolutely perfect.
Excellent service, mouth watering fillets! Impressive wine list too!
Mitchell and Shaun were great!
Absolutely wonderful dining experience for our group of six celebrating two of our friend's birthdays. Morton's printed a menu commemorating their birthdays. Food was as expected, Morton's high quality with steaks cooked to our specifications. We needed to be done in good time to make it to second show at Zanies Rosemont and they delivered on this request. From the hostess to our waitstaff, we had the most attentive and courteous service. Thanks especially to Anna and Athena, our waitstaff for ensuring a successful birthday celebration for our two friends.
We normally book our reservations during the week but we made a weekend reservation this time. We had a few glitches with wrong drinks served and someone’s steak not cooked to their request as well as side dishes that were ordered but missing. The Morton’s salad was awful - it was literally romaine soaked in blue cheese dressing , but the waiter offered to remove it from the bill which we did appreciate. On the weekdays we normally see Patrick , the general manager, but he was not there and it felt like the evening was rushed..Patrick is phenomenal .. never had such a great manager who makes you feel at home. He swings by the tables and chats like a family member . It gives your dinner such a personal touch. He was truly missed this weekend.
I just felt bad that we couldn’t share the great experiences we always have with our friends this weekend - that part I can’t change and I’m sure they will think twice about coming back. Of course we will - food always great..steaks are tender and flavorful ( black truffle butter was delicious). The grilled oysters and Alexander shrimp for appetizers were amazing.. I only wished we ordered more! Till next time- but I’ll stick to the weeknights going forward.
Patrick and crew once again were superb. A cozy warm place to be on a cold evening. The best Morton’s around!!!
The only issue we had is when we first got there they seated our party of 4 in one of those oval booths facing the restaurant. I guess some people like that but we found it to be aqward. So I asked the hostess if we could sit at one of the 20 empty tables and she said no sorry those are taken?? She was a little rude. So we asked our waitress and she seemed to be able to move us?. So besides that the service was great and the food was delicious.
Awesome! Service and food was phenomenal! Will definitely be back for any event especially before an event at the Rosemont.
This place is expensive and worth it!
Outstanding service and steaks.
Try the mashed truffle cauliflower if it is on the menu. Wow! Delicious!
Excellent service, sat us promptly with our reservation time. We were greeted by our serving staff and presented with great options for beverages and the daily specials. Had a wonderful experience.
Unfortunately what was once a great restaurant was a very disappointing experience for us. To start our table was so close to the table behind us and that was the pathway for the wait staff, so every time a waiter would pass by they were bumping my chair. Another in our party couldn't even sit straight for how overcrowded the area was. I asked to be moved and they did accommodate us. By the time we ordered the special, of which not only was touted by our waitress but sent in numerous emails was no longer available. So we ordered our food and the salad came in a timely manner and was good. Then we waited...and waited. Finally our main course arrived..all of us ordered steak and every order was overcooked. Mine was the worst...ordered medium rare and it came well done! This is a steak house that prides themselves on the quality of the meat...it was awful! Needless to say I pointed it out and the manager finally came over. Apologized profusely and offered me a new steak but by this time the rest of my party was halfway through their meal. We ordered the chocolate lava cake ahead of time and they brought us two...on the house. One was done perfect the other way over baked! It was like nothing could go right. The manager did take care of a couple of things on our bill but it didn't make up for the horrible experience we had. This was a celebration dinner in honor of our daughter's engagement...needless to say it was an embarrassment and a huge disappointment! For a restaurant that we always loved to go to, recommended to many and did not mind spending hundreds of dollars, it is now a restaurant that we will never go back to!
Food was very good and so was service although a little overpowering at times. I like waiters to be less overly friendly.
Once I entered the restaurant the Maitre d' acknowledged me...pulling up my reservation she said that I could sit either in the bar or the restaurant. Since I was alone I went for the bar. The bartender came up immediately and took my drink order while I looked over the menu. I decided on Oysters, salad and a Veal Chop. Overall the meal was excellent. Could have been more dressing on the salad...Otherwise a great meal. I will be back if in the area.
Excellent!! Morton never disappoints. First class food and service.
Awesome, as always! Thank you Patrick and Hank! You always make our visits special!
Delicious food, great Halloween deal, dinner was outstanding!
Each time I am in the area , I visit this restaurant. In the past it has been a 5. My steak was covered with a sauce I asked to be on the side. The wild mushroom sauté was buried underneath a mound of grated cheese. It made it inedible. Mitchell the bartender was great.
This place was beautiful... it makes you feel like yours in a yacht but the price for food is like wowwwwwww very pricey, and very little potions of food. So if you really want to eat go somewhere else but if you want to impress someone this is this place for you.. very friendly staff
Dined at this Morton's twice this visit...first visit one entrée was overcooked....was handled by management superbly. On the return visit the GM remembered me and made a point of asking how the second entrée was...it was terrific. his handling of the circumstances was exceptional. Being in service business I applaud his superb handling.
Took our adults sons and girlfriends there for a birthday dinner. Wonderful, as usual!
Get the fries!
We just love Morton's and their staff makes us feel at home.
Great environment and good food
