Unfortunately I did not have a good experience at this Morton’s location. Service was VERY slow and the food was mediocre at best. I got the twin lobster tails which were ok. Slightly rubbery and one just had a weird taste/texture. My husband had the ribeye which I felt was under seasoned and had a slight taste of liver….normally ribeye is my favorite cut so it was disappointing. To top things off, even the comped dessert was underwhelming. It was supposed to be peanut butter banana bread pudding and had no taste of peanut butter :(. The bread was my favorite part of our anniversary dinner!

Morton's is my "go to" steakhouse. The food is always outstanding and the service is perfection.

The entire experience at Morton's was wonderful from when we walked in and congratulated on our anniversary and given a nice card saying this, to when our server came over and said the same thing. We ordered some champagne and wine, but were given a taste test for the reds before serving. We took our time and we were not rushed, even though it was late. We ordered our food, and the Wedge salad was delicious, and our steak was made to perfection. The loaded mashed potatoes were plentiful that wr couldn't eat another bit. Morton's was so kind to provide us with a nice dessert of our choice for our anniversary but we didn't have room anymore. We took a nice slice of key lime pie home. It was delicious 😋 Thank you for everything and making our anniversary so special.

The service was terrible, very rushed. The waiter tried to take away my drink after 2 sips and still full. He took away the bread while we were still trying to eat it. He kept asking if we wanted chocolate lava cake as it took 25 minutes before we had ordered anything. When we asked to see the desert menu he rushed through 4 items and when we asked for a little time the check was slapped on our table. We paid and left and very reluctantly left a tip. The steaks were bland and my husbands was sitting in blood as not rested enough. I wouldn’t go back there again ever.

Service at best was poor. The waiter was unhappy that we ask about any special. The rest of the night he spent a lot of time ignoring our table. The food was good.

I have been going to Morton’s Palm Desert for years. But, I have to say this was our very best experience. Our server was J.J. What an amazing young man. We were celebrating our 44th anniversary and from the moment we arrived we were treated like VIP’s. The hostess (I didn’t get her name). was wonderful. She took us to our table made sure we were comfortable and came back later in the evening and took a lovely photo of us celebrating and presented it to us. Then JJ started and he gave us some different suggestions for dinner and we ended up with Perfection. He checked back with us and he was super fun, attentive and shared with us what was coming up in his life. AN AMAZING SERVER AND YOUNG MAN! My husband had a wedge salad, a crab cake, and a perfectly cooked filet. I had a watermelon arugula salad, crab cake, and salmon. Extremely well prepared meal. We were so full we couldn’t possible eat dessert but JJ packed it up for us to take home. All and all this was such a great night. Thank you Morton’s and hang on to JJ for as long as you can. We will be back!

Our experience has always been great with the service everyone that works there give the best experience and service they are like family. We have been going to Morton’s for many years not because the food but because the great hospitality we receive. Tonight was a very sad night to hear that it was Auturo’s last name get as our bus boy he has severed us for 30 plus years always a smile on his face and has our bread and water there within seconds of us arriving at our table I was very disappointed to hear corporate did not do something special for his years of service not even a card he’s been a great worker to Morton’s if it wasn’t for the staff we honestly would not go there as much. Josh, Moises, Jesus, Brian and Cate and Roque, Oscar and the rest of the staff keeps us coming back. Thank you Auturo for many years of service best wishes for your retirement keep on smiling.
