   Food was as usual good and solid. Service was good but nothing special. Atmosphere almost zero and by 8-45 PM the place was basically empty. Won't be rushing back but not exactly a gourmets delight in the desert, hundreds of restaurants but nothing special.

   I usually don't send in reviews, however I decided to look at some of the reviews for Morton's in Palm Desert to see if others commented on the noise and choice of music. The negative comments had a theme, the noise level. From the moment we walked in, it hits you. I couldn't even hear the woman checking us in because the music was so loud. The choice of music was also odd. I like Taylor Swift, but wasn't expecting to hear her music and other pop hits in a restaurant like Morton's. It's as if they're not considering who their audience is, but maybe more of the staff's choice? On a more positive note, our waiter was exceptional.

   Fantastic! It was my husband’s birthday so we were already excited for a great steak dinner but added touches made the experience extra special! We will be back!

   The steak was perfect. The sides okay. Service was excellent. The noise level made it very difficult to hear the waiter or have a conversation. It put a damper on what should have been a great dinner.

   Had the worst filet mignon (8oz) that I have had in any steak hous. was inedible. Other diners with me had good meals so I sent back and had no dinner. Restairant kindly credited me. Waiter was very good. Still I will rethink ever going back to Mortons.

    Staff was amazing. Made our party of 4 feel welcomed and well taken care of. Food was cooked to perfection and all enjoyed. Our happy occasion was celebrated by our server Joe.
