13 year anniversary. They included a special message on the menu and a dessert! Wonderful!
Waste of a dinner...chopped salad looked like it was chopped in a blender, no recognizable ingredients. Truffle fries were oil soaked an were missing the truffles, scallops with bacon were tasteless. NEVER going back even though there consistent....consistently bad.
We were celebrating and the service was impeccable. The food was fantastic. They really made it feel like a special evening. We can’t wait to go back!
Everything was excellent. Our server, Jon, was outstanding. My only criticism would be that I saw staff hanging out in the corners on the dining area floor laughing and joking casually. At one point their banter grew a little loud that we were able to easily hear every word they said. One of them doubled over laughing with a great big gaffaw. Classy!! I would expect this behavior from Applebee's employees. I do not object to employees chit-chatting but do it in the back and keep it to a minimum while on the floor so as not to disturb diners. Anyway, our waiter was terrific. We will definately request him again.
We eat at Morton's often. This was not one of the most enjoyable visits. The food was not as good as usual. The steak was not done exactly to my liking as well as others at the table. It was still delicious but not the usual. Also, the service was not as good either. I am accustomed to being continuously waited on as if I was the priority, but it was not like that during this visit. Also, a staff member came to the table while 2 of our party were at the restroom to take our complimentary photo. She said she would come back but we never saw her again.
Food (steak) excellent. Service (Lureen) beyond outstanding. Typical steak house cost (order the specials and it's $500 for 4 people). Definitely worth it.
Waitress & staff professional & friendly, food was excellent.
Been to Mortons Palm Beach many times but i think the food standards are slipping A recent visit lobster bisque farfar to spicy for a soup a baked potatoe grey in clour so old and worst a very average ribeye steak flavourless and quiet dry Certainly not past morton standards A good shrimp alexander and very good waiter service not sufficient at these pices
take one hour to wait food
I have always been a fan of Morton’s but we made a reservation for 930 pm and were told we had to wait once we arrived. We were not seated for almost 45 minutes after our reservation time. It’s understandable there may be a small wait even with reservations but 45 min is absurd. Wasn’t happy on Valentines Day.
I had reservations at 8:15 we didn’t get seated until around 8:45 which was okay because it was Valentine’s Day so I understand they were busy. Our server never brought us menus never even greeted us so after 15 minutes of watching her attend other tables and not us I got the manager and asked for water because I was so thirsty (I’m 8 months pregnant) and menus. Server finally came over and never apologized. The food took forever to come out and I literally watched all the tables around us eat appetizers their main course and even dessert before we even got our food. The server was terrible I would never go back BUT the food was amazing. I wish we had better service and I would definitely come back but that wasn’t the case.
Took 45 minutes to be seated at our reserved booth. Service wasn't good at all. The food was above average.
Rather-disappointing first visit to this Morton's location! Tables so close together you feel like you are dining with other patrons! Service terrible! Took 45 minutes for our appetizer course to arrive, then moments later, the entrees arrived! I can spend alot less for alot better food and alot better service at several other areas venues! Never again here...
Mike, our waiter, was excellent. The food and service were exceptional. We had soufflés and the hot lava chocolate cake for desert and Birthday. It was a wonderful evening and I would highly recommend Mortons. We will be back.
Went to Morton’s to celebrate my birthday. Server was attentive making the dining experience very pleasant. I judge a restaurant on its ability to deliver my food piping hot and I was not disappointed! That being said, the drinks and food are overpriced. I can name several other steak houses that deliver the same quality and service more reasonably priced.
The food here was excellent. Our bone-in filets were cooked perfectly and our friend's veal chop was also superb. Our service was excellent. The only complaint was that in a half-empty restaurant, they put a couple in the booth next to us and the male was so loud that he really disturbed our dinner. While that may have been convenient for the server, or whatever, it really put a damper on what was otherwise an excellent experience.
Excellent service - as always!
We like high end dining and fine restaurants. This was a little out of the way for us but we had a gift card so decided to try it. The food was very bland, our waiter was awful. Took forever to get drinks and bread. The only good thing was the Ahi Tuna tower. Lobster bisque was watered down. Steak was over cooked and tasteless. So disappointed! We will not go back. I'll regift any future gift cards
It was ok. It took forever to get our food
I am a huge fan of steakhouses and know that they will usually be on the higher end of most dining establishments. Service, quality and price. I felt the service was mediocre. Spent quite a while waiting to order a drink at a bar that is not large and was not super busy with 3 bartenders there. They seemed a bit preoccupied with chit chatting with other customers and discussing what I assume is their membership club. Food was decent (nothing great). Price seemed a bit high even for a steak house, but I did not compare item by item to other places to make that statement with complete objectivity.
Always a wonderful experience at Morton’s! Fantastic food, great service and lovely environment!
Food ok. Way overpriced. Steak raw. By the time it was brought back everyone else was done eating. Overrated! Capitol Grill and Ruth’s Chris much better!
Food was poor. We will not dine there again
The 4 of us dined at Mortons because we had a $100 gift card to use. Although we all dine out often and live within a couple of miles, we don't dine at Mortons because it has never proven to be that great for the price. We thought we would give it a try because of the gift card. Our server Barbara was nice and had a great sense of humor. The atmosphere still lacks anything special. The food was all acceptable and just good. The steaks were ok but certainly not anything to write home about. We had one bottle of wine, a glass of wine and one cocktail. We each ordered a salad to start and a steak. We ordered 1 dessert to share. Nothing spectacular. I normally would not expect spectacular except that the bill totaled just over $450 before the tip (and gift card). $450 for 4 people for ok food in an ok atmosphere is a tad steep. It should be better. I am fine with $450 for 4 people when the food and atmosphere excels. The many empty tables the entire evening was for good reason. For the good, ok food we received and what we ordered, and the blah atmosphere, the bill should have been more like $350. I left an $88 tip because our server was good. There are much better options for less money in the area.
It was fantastic! I’ve seen a lot of complaints about the service, but our server, I forget her name, she was just stellar! The food was prompt and just decadent! Would certainly go again.
Service made us feel like we were buying a used car. Buy this and get that free. Cold seafood tower was dismally small. One oyster, one shrimp, small chopped pieces of lobster and one fishy crab leg. Too make it worse there was a half used hot sauce bottle in the ice. Escargot had RAW garlic. Filet was mediocre. Also, the restaurant was empty. Maybe it was good once but my advise is go to Ruth Chris
The food was great but the service was a little slow. Sometimes that happens
The girl at the front was amazing as she brought over personalized menus for our anniversary and took a picture of us to print out.
The food was good, not great. The service was marginal at best, we continually had to look for our server. She was not available for some reason. When we pay for fine dining we expect appropriate service. It made the whole meal disappointing.
Hostess was professional. Attentive not overbearing. Excellent cut of beef. Clean inside and outside. Will definitely return.
Extremely overpriced and our meals left us toilet bound for 24 hours. I'd consider my husband and I foodies and this certainly didn't fit the bill. For almost $400, we each ended up 5 lbs lighter when it was all said and done. The decor was extremely dated circa 1990, bathrooms were old. The service was wonderful and our server was very attentive and pleasant. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant at all. There are so many better steakhouses in Palm Beach.
Dinner was simply delicious. Service by Amy was so personal and pleasant. Porterhouse steak couldn't be beat anywhere. We felt so special. It was my birthday celebration and the complimentary soufflé was unexpected. We will plan to return soon. Thanks for such a lovely evening!
Nice touch using the happy birthday menu
Service was very attentive
Food was very enjoyable
Wine selection was nice
We were there on a very busy Christmas Day, but it did not effect the quality of the food or service. We had a delicious dinner and lots of fun.
Food way way overpriced
Wine way overpriced
The waitress on two occasions did not bring things we asked for; eg, asked for a blackened ribeye (seasoned) steak and she delivered a pan seared (unseasoned) steak.
The prices are too high and the a la carte menu has some ridiculous prices, e.g., the $13.00 baked potato. The food quality is generally very good. The service was mediocre. I would rate Morton's The Steakhouse - Palm Beach a 7 or 7.5, maybe an 8. The creme brulee was nothing special. The bread was very good.
My family has been eating at Morons in West Palm for well over 20 years. Always being a venue we looked forward to. We brought a group of friends from up North that were visiting and our experience was quite disappointing. We were first shown to a table that was directly next to the doors of the kitchen, after requesting another table, we were eventually shown to a table in the private room at the rear of the restaurant. The hostess disappeared and we were left to find our own way? Service was erratic. Brussels Sprouts undercooked. All in all, as stated earlier, very disappointing. Years ago, Mortons was basically the only game in town. Now luckily there are many other choices of excellent steak houses in the area.
Its very unfortunate that that special feeling we used to have when dining at this restaurant was nowhere to be found.
It was similar to the movie pretty woman... I guess my daughter and I was not showing our “wealth” to be treated like the other guests in the restaurant. The manager passed our table multiple times without even acknowledging us! I specially asked for no avocado since I am allergic to it and after being told that it will not be added I received my salad with a heap of avocado on top.. no effort was made to serve our table and our waitress checked in once to see if we were satisfied. Living abroad in many countries and have been told about Morton’s extremely good reputation I was very dissapointed in celebrating our thanksgiving at this location... maybe if we go back and wear diamond rings and a LV bag we will be treated differently.
Tables for 4 are definitely too small. This Morton’s does NOT give you a butter knife but a large steak knife. Overall the food is delicious. Overpriced compared to similar offerings. For the second visit within 3 weeks, my filet was undercooked and needed to be sent back to the kitchen - on the bone-in filet. No offering of apologies or visit from the manager. Zero acknowledgment. That was poorly done, Morton’s. Perhaps this is why the times I’ve visited this location, the dining room was less than hal full on a weekend early dining hour. The desserts are delicious but again way overpriced at $13 plus.
Service was superb. The prices are very high considering that everything is a la carte. Only go if there’s no other good choice.
