Had the 6 oz filet mignon with au gratin potatoes and asparagus. All was perfect. Liss was an outstanding server. The dirty martini was among the best I've had. Great ambiance too. I highly recommend Morton's as a premier steakhouse in Houston.
Morton was its usual exquisite experience
I came in pretty close to closing time and Sarina, the bartender was incredibly accommodating. She did not make me feel unwelcome for coming in 30mins before close and was very attentive. I got up to use the restroom and could not find it and as the manager showed me the way, he thanked me for dining with them. This was my first time at this location and I would definitely return.
Superior service and tremendous menu. Wonderful experience as always!
It was an outstanding experience to dine in and support Restaurant week.
Waitstaff were awesome
Great food and service ! I enjoyed every bit of the experience
Went with my girlfriends to celebrate my birthday.... it’s always such a great experience there... the food is amazing
Gabe gave us a fantastic experience with wines. He did a tasting for us so we could select the exact wine we wanted. It was not only a learning experience but very fun. The food was delicious as always. One of my favorite places to go.
Our table host was delightful and very attentive. The Manager and Chef stopped by to check on us several times. Everything was cooked to a perfection. Thank you for a memorable night in a COVID world.
Really enjoyed experience at Morton’s Steakhouse would recommend to family and friends.
Would like to use this forum to give a very sincere and heartfelt thank you to the entire staff. I am frequent steakhouse customer at many of the establishments throughout Houston. There are many options. I had not been to this Morton's location previously. That said, I can honestly say that this was one of the best experiences that I have ever had anywhere, much less in Houston.
We decided to use this location for my son's college graduation celebration, seeing as COVID removed any real ceremony, I wanted him have a special night. I have parents who are in their late 70s with a mixed health record, so I had some concern about social distancing and exposure. I called the restaurant to see if there was a possibility that they could sit us in an isolated area. They gave me some options (including a private dining area) and it worked out amazing! The atmosphere was great. Food was perfect (everyone in the party was pleased). The staff were absolutely fantastic, just incredible quality service. I can't brag on them enough.
I really could not have had a better experience! I will gladly suggest to anyone I can to visit this establishment. Personally, I can't wait to go back!
Just a great meal with family, the service, food, and overall experience was outstanding!
Ashley was great! We felt safe and well taken care of!
Everything was fantastic from the moment we walked through the door. The staff gave warm greetings, and went above and beyond to make sure that everything was top notch, and the food was absolutely delicious! The shrimp cocktail was the best that I have ever eaten, the lobster was cooked to perfection, and the crab cakes are full of crab meat, not fillers; we will definitely be back. Tino and Ashley were great!!
Great service but food is a little over priced. Also, they would not validate our garage parking and the valet service was not available.
The steaks are well prepared and melt in your mouth.
Great restaurant, food, and service. Time to return.
We arrived early and were seated early, which was great. The ambiance and service throughout the evening the evening were exceptional. My only complaint was that the waitress recommended both the Cajun ribeye and bacon wrapped scallops. My wife didn't like the scallops, although she usually does, and my Cajun ribeye grew old about halfway through. I didn't finish it. Wife's bone-in ribeye was to die for, however.
It was our anniversary dinner, and the note from OpenTable carried over. They offered us a free creamy chocolate cake and ice cream dessert, which was very nice of them. It was excellent.
Was surreal to be the only seated guests in the restaurant, but excellent service.
It was really good!
Overall it was really good. I had indicated when making the reservations it was a birthday, but it went unnoticed. After we were seated it took about seven minutes before the waiter came by to ask if we needed anything (in the past they’ve been in the spot, but it appeared they had reduced staff). From that point on the waiter was very attentive and took care of us. Food was great. Steaks came out perfect. Overall a really good experience given there were protests downtown and limited staff (quarantine protocols).
Exceptional food and service. Love it
Visited at 6p friday as reopening during pandemic. Were 4 tables seated and a good amount of staff. Staff were excellent and clean.
Waitress seemed poorly trained. Food came by three people, one with mask two others without.
We were given limited wine list. I asked for a particular wine I had seen on the wine list before but we were told by the waitress that the sommelier said that only the limited list was available. I decided to walk over to the walk-in wine cooler and then asked the bartender—he said they did have the wine I was looking for. Odd.
Food was very good. Then the manager came over with mask, but pulled down below his chin and does the happy talk.
Near the end of dinner without our asking he comes with another bottle of wine, ready to cork it and saying we can take it home if we don’t finish it—very pushy used car salesman tactic to drive up ticket.
Again, food very good but service bad. Go to the Galleria Morton’s where Eric runs an excellent operation.
We had a great experience and wonderful service from both the server and the sommelier
Excellent service. Our steaks came out perfect. The smoked Gouda potatoes were delicious.
Great Place. The staff was very attentive and had a great attitude. The food was very good as expected. However the cheesecake amazed my wife and I. Thank you Morton's!
We were disappointed that the hostess and our waiter approached our table with their masks under their chins. The manager, when thanking me when returning my rewards card also did not wear a mask. One of my guests is undergoing cancer treatment and we expected that Landry's would have strict compliance with safety procedures.
Steak, salads, veggies and desserts were all very good but the crab cakes were far from Morton's caliber, I've had better at neighborhood dinners. I'd never ordered them at Mortons before so I don't know if it was an anomaly or normal for them but it was very disappointing. We usually go to the Post Oak location.
What a fabulous evening!!! Great food, the best service. Love, love, love this restaurant.
Wish they would replicate themselves and move into the Woodlands. Morton’s Grille in the Woodlands has worst music, worst management, worst vibe.
Great. Loved it. This is my second visit within a week. Both of us had a great meal.
We really enjoyed the food but had fruit flies at our table. I have never had that experience at this level of restaurant before. I mentioned it to the waiter and he said some one must have left the door open to the outside. This is unacceptable and the GM should find the cause. I would not return or recommend this location until they fix this problem. My comment is meant to be constructive not critical. I reamin a fan of Morton's.
Great service and steak was cooked perfectly, Pace of meal was great!
Never a disappointment - crew is top notch, service is second to none and the food is wonderful.
Great food and excellent service. Will definitely be back!
I’ve eaten at Morton’s many times in the past for lunch and my experience this time around wasn’t at the level I’d expect when dining at a steakhouse. I ordered the lunch filet and asparagus. I specifically asked the server if the steak comes out on a hot plate and she said, “yes” so I prefer my steak medium rare. My steak came out on a cold plate and rare. My waitress never stopped by after our food was delivered. I had to flag down the manager who happened to be behind the bar. He took my steak back to cook it and even the second time my steak wasn’t cooked correctly and served on a lukewarm plate at best.
Not my favorite Morton’s location. It was my daughter’s BD which I had told them in advance. Went totally unnoticed by our server. Server disappeared for long stretches of time. Screwed up the bill by charging for too many drinks.
Overall a C night at best. So average I can’t remember what I ate.
I would recommend Morton’s by Galleria.
We had a really good time and the food was outstanding. We aren’t heavy eaters and having an appetizer usually determines what and how much we eat. We happened to split a wagyu steak and they graciously split the steak for us and served on two different plates. They also split our salad. We really appreciated that. We aso really like the personal size sides. Again we aren’t heavy eaters so splitting this size is absolutely perfect. The attention to detail was great and while we have been to other Morton’s steakhouses we enjoyed driving into the city this go around to celebrate our 17th anniversary.
