Service was slow, got our menus well after sitting, never reviewed menu or specials. Wrong sides brought and blamed the guy who brought it to the table - the wrong side had shellfish, my wife is allergic. No real apology, just switched out and deducted from the bill. poor value for the price. unegeged wait staff

A real Chicago steakhouse with a great feel and tradition. The food is great an the service is impeccable. Friendly and helpful staff that is very engaging. John the bartender is very friendly engaging and treats you like it is your restaurant!

Morton’s The Steakhouse - you would never complain about the steak.
I’d love to share about the nice, hot bread which had onion flavors. Soft and tender, you would forget how much you eat. The lobster bisque had a hint of spicy (kids be sure you can eat spicy before you order). Surprisingly the spice together with lobster is a nice combination. The cocktails are in the good quality. The New York Cheesecake is soft and not too sweet hence if you have coffee it’s a perfect match (I know they have trademark dessert but pardon me I love cheesecake).
The overall experience is superb. I sincerely recommend to you. One last recommendation- please carefully dress before you go.

The word "classic" is defined to be; judged over a period of time to be of the highest quality and outstanding of its kind. With that definition you can certainly add the word "Classic" to Morton Steakhouse. It is a Classic in Chicago. The Filet Mignon was superb. Absolutely perfect. Could not have been better. The sides from the salads to the mashed potatoes were all great. To top it off, the service was not intrusive but were there to fill the water glasses, ask if you needed a refill from a bar drink and were just wonderful. The owners made their rounds checking on things and it was just a classic steakhouse experience. A wonderful night. LOVED IT!

We had such a great time at Morton’s! It was our 5 year anniversary and they made us feel so special; from the personalized menu to the photo your waiter takes of you and you get to keep! The food was spectacular! Not only were we celebrating our anniversary but the kickoff of Chicago restaurant week, which is one of our favorite times of the year! Shout out to Sammy, he was a great waiter!

The food:
The bread is delicious! I believe it has caramelized crispy onions on top which was great.
I had Lobster bisque, I wish the lobster in the soup was cut up a little bit as I had a huge chunk in there, but it was still good.
For the main course I had the shrimp scampi capellini, SO GOOD! The shrimp is buttery, garlicky, and just overall amazing! Eric got the steak, that just melted in your mouth!
The dessert: I got the Morton’s chocolate cake, which oozes chocolatey goodness once you cut into it. Eric had the chocolate mousse which was light and decadent, but we have to admit the chocolate cake is where it’s at!
Also, for a drink Eric ordered the manhattan which came with a piece of steak in it. Perfect cocktail!
