Cajun Ribeye Steak
Sauteed Brussels Sprouts
The is the first time the steak has ever made us sick. I wonder if they changed the spice up Because my husband and I both Got sick with a stomach ache for about 4 hours.
Firstly, the ambiance is swanky and dark. Old school upbeat music and a friendly staff throughout. We travel a lot and have been to the mediocre to the highest on end places across the country. The expectations standards for this place are set extremely high and that’s what we have based our rating on. Overall, the food was mediocre. We tried many dishes and spent around $350 before tip for two people. Starting off, tap ice water was poured and it is not good. Tasted like straight salt water. Which is what it is and they did offer bottled water once the server arrived. We elected for that and was brought a large bottle of Panna. We tried the onion bread which was good. Then the meatball tasted ok but was on the tougher side. The lobster bisque was dreary unfortunately. Cheesy more than creamy and salty assuming from the local water. We shared a Caesar which was salty as well again assuming rinsed with local water. They had specials that we ordered from for the main. I selected the Cajun seasoned 12oz filet which came with crab and cropped asparagus (Oscar style) and my fiancé selected the Wagyu filet with red wine reduction and a seared foie gras. First issue was both steaks were order medium rare and came rare. Definitely edible but under our desired temp and my fiancé’s was cold which was a disappointment because we will not ask a place like this to refire a steak like this. This isn’t outback and they should know without blinking how to get the temps right every time. We also tried the corn soufflé which was creamed corn topped with cheese and baked. Not what I would consider a soufflé without the airy bubbles and cake like taste. Lastly, we ordered crème brûlée which must have been prepared earlier because the top did not have a fresh hard top. Again, the overall experience was just mediocre and the cost is not in line with the experience you should be expected. Conceptually, this should be an award winning place but the execution falls short.
It was great food excellent will be returning and recommending to others
It was very nice with good food and a wonderful ambiance. The waiter was absolutely great.
The service and ambiance was worth it’s weight in gold! We will DEFINITELY come back again and again!
Wonderful food, service and ambiance.
Chris our waiter was very efficient and nice. One of the best waiters we have ever had. The meal was excellent.
He wore a mask for us and they sat us at a table away from others. My husband has a compromised immune system. We felt very safe eating at Morton’s.
This Mortons does not disappoint. The food is terrific and the ambience is lovely. Staff is great. What a nice night out. And my filet literally melted in my mouth!
Upon receiving notification that I had been invited into a National honors society I decided to enjoy a dinner with my son. We enjoyed every moment that we experienced at Morton’s. I was slightly saddened by the difference in menu from that in San Diego but our meal was enjoyable nonetheless. Our appetizer, the prosciutto wrapped mozzarella along with the light salad was both delicious a s refreshing start to a wonderful dinner. It was so tasty even my six year old asked for more. We shared the Dry-aged Bone-in KC strip along with Blue cheese butter as well as the house butter it came with. I simply could not decide between the two was more enjoyable and found myself dipping back/forth. For our sides we had Parmesan & truffle fries along with lobster macaroni and cheese. Again, it was very difficult to decide between these two delicacies just as I struggled with the butter toppers. Overall my son and I had a wonderful evening. Our server was a bit frosty at first but eventually warmed up to us. Maybe he had never seen a young mother and her son dine in such an establishment before but this is a norm for us as he is very mature and well mannered.
Took my 4 college age boys here for a steakhouse experience. Mortons did not disappoint. Best cajun ribeye ever. The sides are huge and were enjoyed by all. Our server was the greatest. The Burrato salad was truly special. I could go to Mortons to eat only that!
It was new years eve! The steaks, service, and atmosphere were awesome. We have eaten at most steakhouses in biloxi and we keep coming back to Mortons. The surprise champagne for a great price was a bonus.
We enjoy Morton’s every New Year’s Eve if possible
Morton's food at this location was back to where I expect it to be. However, the sauce for the asparagus was not to our liking. Stick to hollandaise because gimmick sauces are better left to mall chains. Otherwise excellent all around.
Steak was under cooked for medium it was bloody and when it when back it became very well done. We were not asked when it came back if it we ok or not. The corn was very bland.
Everything was excellent. Ben was a top notch server who met every need and anticipated our wants.
I’d love to say that all steaks are created equal, but they’re not. Some steaks, and consequently some steak houses, are better than others. I’ve eaten at Morton’s for close to 20 years; they’ve always been very, very good. But I feel that there are other steakhouses that have surpassed them. It’s no longer enough to simply have a good steak. The steak must be brilliant. If you’re gonna call yourself a steakhouse, you better do your name sake right. At this particular meal, I ordered a special, which was corn soufflé. In no way, shape or form did it resemble a soufflé in any way that I know it. It was simply cream corn with a bit of cheese on it. Again, at any other restaurant it might be good enough, but at a Morton’s restaurant, this is nowhere near good enough. The best thing I can say is our waitress was absolutely brilliant. The water was refilled promptly, we were attended well, and the ambience was great. Also, my son loved the bread.
From start to finish it was perfect. Only waited a few minutes to be seated. Great apps, entrées sides and desserts. Everything was cooked perfectly and brought to the table timely and piping hot. Think it’s our new holiday place.
We go to Morton’s every year for Christmas- I have a very good idea of how the operation works.
This year all of a sudden they do not observe the beer and wine for minors exception, while with parents
The hamburger was taken off the menu (crazy Christmas tradition)
The espresso machine was broken
Food got to the table cold
We had a party of 11 - there were 2 waiters and they didn’t communicate what the other was doing
It was alll just blah, nothing stood out as amazing. After a 1500 tab for 5 it we all left saying it was just “ok”
This is our favorite restaurant for a celebration, so since our family get together wasn't going to be until Sunday, it only made sense to come to Morton's for Christmas dinner. As always, from the time we stepped out of the elevator into the restaurant until the time we finished our meal and left, we could not have been treated better, received better service, and the food could not have been better. We ordered the holiday special: chateaubriand for 2 with 3 sauces, winter salad, 3 sides and dessert: the chateaubriand was prepared exactly as we requested, and the salad and sides (cream spinach, corn soufflé and mashed potatoes) complemented it perfectly. We always enjoy ourselves so much whenever we dine at Morton's!
Everything was good. If I had to have to critique it would be two things. With an upscale restaurant as this and with about a 20% occupant, we ( party of 6) were seated way in the back. Also, when the plate of food is delivered to the table, the server should make sure each person received the food they ordered even if the dish is duplicated. If it is duplicated, it doesn’t mean the steak is cooked the same. We had an issue with medium well and medium rare.
Celebrating Christmas 🎄
The very best steak I’ve ever enjoyed. Go for the Wagyu beef, pricey but SO worth it. The signature sides should not be ignored either, so delicious.
Absolutely OUTSTANDING! I way my steak will done which always means tough. This steak was so well done, just like I like it but I could cut it with my fork. NEVER have I had a steak like this!
Very disappointing on food quality
We visit Morton’s often. It’s always a great experience!!
As always, we thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience at Morton's.
This time we were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and every aspect of the evening was beyond compare.
My steak was bit over cooked and albino color…. Very weird
First impression- very dark, very noisy. We enjoyed the lobster bisque which was our starter. I had the Cold Water Lobster which was tasty but over cooked. My husband had the filet of beef which was cooked perfectly and enjoyed. Our sides were truffle fries, very good and corn soufflé..not so good. Our server was very nice, very attentive and apologetic for our VERY LONG wait due to large Christmas parties. We were rewarded for withstanding the wait with their wonderful bread pudding. Last impression- it's not for me, too noisy and for the standard of food and service, too expensive.
My wife had the Wagyu Filet, and I had the 12 oz filet. Both were tough and lacking in flavor. The au gratin potatoes were very good. The service was excellent.
The food and service was great. We came for our anniversary and they personalized the menu’s to wish us a happy anniversary. Did I mention the food was really good?
We have been to several Morton’s and this is not one of the best. This was our second visit and it was ok at best.
We absolutely love Morton's! This was our first visit since the pandemic, it was for my husband's birthday, and everything was perfect, from the time we were greeted as we checked in until the end of the meal when we left. The staff member assigned to us was friendly and attentive (but did not hover), and the food was prepared perfectly, just has it always has been in the past when we have eaten there.
Service and food was outstanding as always at the Biloxi GN location.
Our server Jackie was excellent.
Would recommend to anyone that travels this area.
The service was great and if you like steak you will love Mortons.
Our first time at Morton's was very enjoyable and delicious!! We WILL be back!
We always have a great experience at this Mortons, our server was terrific as always, thanks for a fun night out!
Great meal, great service. I will come back in the future.
For the price of the meal, we were expecting a much more professional experience. Steak at $70 was chewy. Sides were great. Service was mediocre.
We visited this restaurant for an anniversary dinner. While we have eaten at Morton’s before, this was our first time at this location. We arrived early for our reservation but they were unable to seat us due to the restaurant being packed. The place was very high energy for a steakhouse. Loud music and people everywhere. As we were seat we couldn’t help notice the conversation between the guests at the table near our and their server. They were complaining about the dishes they had received. Our server was the first negative to out experience. He was very dismissive as if we were interrupting his evening. While we had lots of questions we were unable to get many answers as our server constantly disappeared. We were able to determine with his assistance, that the one item we came in for was no longer on the menu. We ultimately chose the shrimp Alexander which was very tasty, and the ribeye Oscar style. I don’t have the words to explain how absolutely disgusting this steak was. To start It was undercooked. Secondly I slacked any sort of flavor. And lastly the “Oscar” was some sort of crab and asparagus soup poured over the steak. I absolutely hated this meal. We will never visit this place again.
