   I've heard a lot about this place, so I was excited to attend. The food was good. It took us over 45 minutes to get it, so I'm not 100% sure if it was good or if we were hungry. It's a small establishment, so a little tight with small tables. Overall it was decent, I would do a takeout, but it's not somewhere I would want to go sit st again.

   As so many other restaurants, the music is so loud it makes it impossible to enjoy the experience. They also seem to have a problem with customers stealing their flatware. You are presented with a small fork for you food. If you want a knife you will have to ask for one. The waitress could not have been nicer. The food is good but not exceptional. You will have to shout at your waiter/waitress to be heard. Their crabmeat grilled oysters are a waste of money. The crabmeat add nothing to the flavor. The bread served with the oysters is more than a day old and has not been heated. And the chef could not be bothered to cut the oyster lose from the shell. The redfish on a bed of garlic mashed potatoes is very good. But at $40, it is overpriced. They are supposed to open at 11 AM on Saturday and there were a dozen people waiting to get in at 11:10. All in all, I will not be going back.

    Morrow’s food is delicious but their service isnt the best. I made a reservation for a table for 3 at 8:15. I arrived for my reservation on time and still wasnt seated until 9pm. I was told that “vip” guests were given the table we were supposed to have. That in itself was a slap in the face given the fact that our reservation was made weeks in advance and we came hingry. When we were finally seated, our waiter made really great suggestions in terms of things to try since it was our first time, but the consistency and delivery of these items were off. For example, ordered 2 bowls of gumbo, only one came out. By the time we were able to flag our waiter and let him know we were missing a bowl, dinner started coming out, so we told him just cancel it. Ordered all white meat fried chicken, got mixed pieces of chicken. Fried chicken was a bit under seasoned. Mac and cheese that was served with the chicken came out cold. Apps and dinner came out way before we got any of our drinks. When drinks arrived they came with a lot of ice and not a lot of drink. When we voiced our concerns to the waiter, he tried to make it right by giving us 1 free dessert to share. The bread pudding was delicious but we had to wait an additional 25 mins for it to come out. Overall, i wouldnt come back to dine in here. If they offer carry out, that’s probably a better option, but i wouldnt go back and wouldnt suggest it to others to go either.
