Morrison Wines is a great venue to visit. It has a great facility, great location and a few nice wines to match, it’s also the only winery in the area to offer a full restaurant meal. Unfortunately compared to the last time I visited this winery, the service and meal quality has slipped. With a party of seven, we placed our orders for Entree and mains, and while waiting for this, 4 opted to taste some wines before the Entrees arrived. From the tasting, a bottle of white and red were chosen to be delivered to the table to have with the meals - Entrees were being eaten and enjoyed. Mains arrived, then we asked about the wine; it was forgotten, they offered to get the wine, but it had killed the mood and only 2 glasses were ordered. Most people enjoyed their Entrees, but only 5 enjoyed their mains, the other two (including myself) were disappointed with the steak. There were two meat option, the Roastbiff (which only came cooked medium) and the more expensive eye fillet, cooked to your liking- well I like rare, so paid the extra, the other liked medium/rare, so the same. Well his fillet was a well done and mine was medium/well. I didn’t finish my steak (too dry for my liking) and didn’t make a fuss. When asked how the meal was by staff, I informed them quietly it was nice, but the steaks were overcooked to what we asked for. Upon paying the staff member said they sorry for our meal and mentioned the overcooked steak to the kitchen, but no response. I thanked them as I was not expecting any discount, paid the bill and left. Would i recommend, my previous experience, he’ll yeh, at this stag after my recent , maybe not, I’d have to go back some day and see if it’s improved before I say yes. The disappointing thing, it didn’t seem that busy on this particular Saturday.

I love the hole experience going into Morrisons The staff are extremely helpful and the food and wine are always excellent Even the manager greets you he works hard I would recommend anyone to visit

Unfortunately, I cannot say many good things after this visit. I come every year and up until now have provided 5 stars. This time however, the food was poor, service was slow (although the waiters were friendly), we had to ask for drinks every time, our table wasn't cleared and it was not a great experience. There were staff everywhere but no urgency or care factor. I won't be back until I know this has all been rectified. We were very disappointed. Sorry :-(

Recently attended with a group of 10 people. The food at the very least was lack luster and 90% of the dishes were missing seasoning. The croquettes where bland, the crispy chipotle potatoes were not crispy and no flavour of chipotle at all. The lamb back strap was also flat and required seasoning. The service was slow, and meals were mixed up with allergy content. The room go way to got them way to cold and the noise level was almost unbearable. It’s a very generous 2 out of 5 for us.

Food was amazing and super tasty. The service was ok, we felt like staff were hovering over our table due to it not being busy.and when ordering drinks we seem to wait for ages. Was very disappointed that we all paid for our meals and we were accused of not paying for 1x 2 course meals and 2x 3 course meals+ 2x eye fillets. We were asked numerous times about who ordered the King Fisher meals but no one on our table did. I even offered for all of us to get our net banking up to prove everyone paid. It seemed like a whole table was added to our table. But other than this hiccup everything else was ok.
