Sat at the end of the bar seating and was constantly bashed into by waiting staff without any acknowledgement. Waiting staff seemed to be run off their feet with no time for customers. Food was decidedly average but not great and over-priced. A handful of dishes for two plus a carafe of wine and water was over £60 per head. The waiting staff didn’t at any point ask how the food or experience had been. Will not be returning as there are many other better choices.

I was really looking forward to trying Mortio, but unfortunately, it didn’t quite meet my expectations. The food was just okay. The crispy aubergine was unexpectedly very sweet—more like a dessert than a savoury dish. I also ordered the pan con tomate with jambon, but was surprised to receive two very thick, crumpet-like pieces of bread topped with tomato. The texture was heavy and soggy, and overall it just wasn’t appetising—I wouldn’t feel comfortable serving something like that to guests in my own home. I was really disappointed and ended up not eating it. What made the experience worse was that the waitress didn’t ask if anything was wrong, despite the fact that I had clearly left the dish untouched. I'm quite frustrated to have been charged £9 for something I couldn't eat and didn’t enjoy. Unfortunately, I won’t be returning.

The staff were all lovely. Friendly & welcoming. As the weather was nice it was great to have the option of eating outside(although the people next to us were smoking and it was going into our faces) The drinks were ok but quote all measures for the price. The selection of tapas we ordered were mainly good particularly the aubergine which was delicious. The potatas bravas wasn’t the best I’ve had. Some of the taps were very small for the price for example the courgette salad with manchego.

In general we always enjoy the food and service at Morito. But in our last visit it seemed service was very quick and too efficient and not hospitable. Dishes were cleared very fast without checking if we finished with the dish. Almost robotic feel. Food was excellent as always

On arrival we were told by a gruff waitress to wait at the door … (yes they were busy but we did have a reservation) … would have expected a hello … not one of the staff raised a smile all evening … they were all very surly …obviously the vibe of the place filters down from the manager … . The space between tables was unacceptably small ..we were virtually sitting on the next tables laps ….the food was distinctly average… Altogether a very disappointing experience and expensive … we ate … bread …. Padron peppers , chorizo , tortilla… very nice … followed by artichokes with jambon and almond … bland … finally fried cod cheeks with piri piri alioli … piri piri had a lovely kick the cod cheeks were tasteless and gritty … not great … expected more … won’t be going back …

Amazing food as always! So delicious and great cocktails. Good service and nice to get a table outside but you do need to be early around 6pm to get one.
