      Me and my partner had a lovely experience at Monzu last night. We shared a bottle of wine, carbonara and amatriciana. Our waiter Alberto was very nice and attentive. Definitely coming back again.

      Such a fantastic find! Ordered the short ribs, gnocchi and Bolognese pastas and all were fantastic. There was nothing left on anyone’s plates. We sat outside, on the sidewalk, and it worked well for being in Downtown. A+ is the way the family is talking about the pesto gnocchi on the way home from dinner.

      Service was outstanding. Food was excellent. Very close to ballpark so nice little pre-game Italian dinner.

      Lovely place with great service. However, except for the mozzarella rolls (which were good) the pasta was subpar. The pasta was undercooked, too al dente, stuck to the teeth. The carbonara sauce tasted like diluted eggs. The amatriciana sauce tasted like boiled tomatoes with garlic. Hope they figure things out.

      What a gem of a place. Front of the house and our waiter Alberto were the best. Alberto was very attentive and was great to talk to while we were dining. The meatballs were amazing, focaccia with prosciutto was great and the mozzarella rolls were a pleasant balance of cheese, meat, and fig compote. The Roman carbonara with burrata was one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever eaten. Sitting outside was great.

      The food was highly overrated and significantly overpriced for what was offered. The portions were underwhelming, and the location itself was quite small and cramped. Overall, it didn’t live up to the hype and certainly wasn’t worth the cost

      Outstanding! Truffle chips and fondue, artichoke salad, short rib ravioli and prawn ravioli were all delicious, beautifully prepared and presented! Alberto provided excellent service!
