Dinner: Daily 3:30pm-11:00pm
I ordered the pork tacos and my tortillas weren’t even cooked. By the time I got my food I’d was cold.
Loved the food
And the musician on Sept 20
Great place!! We loved the food and the atmosphere! Would definitely go back!!
We were celebrating two anniversaries and the dinner and service was wonderful. Out server was attentive and made us feel special. The food was delicious. Between the four of us we had the beet salad, Brussel sprouts, a pizza, fish and chips, and the gnocchi. Plentiful portions on all. They even face us complimentary slices of two different pies.
We did experience a very minor issue with one plate and they went above and beyond to correct. GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. Far better than the way another local restaurant (Roy's) handled the corked wine they served us.
I hope that both Todd and the floor manager (did not get her name) get credit for a job well done.
This restaurant gave us a pleasurable memory of a wonderful evening.
Food was great, server was very knowledgeable about the menu and checked on us throughout the meal.
Little noisy, but it was a Friday night and folks were having a good time!
Fit for foodies, great ambience and craft beverages for date night yet still family friendly. Wonderful -- exactly why I keep choosing Metriman's restaurants while in Hawaii.
The food was excellent, service was exceptional and the live music was outstanding. Our experience here was really above and beyond our expectations. My wife and I recommend for everyone to try.
Service. Our server was exceptional. Kylie was professional, friendly and helpful. Her expertise extended far beyond the normal service expected from a server at Monkeypods. She understood my initial frustration with the loud and unsettling music blaring from an adjacent speaker. She acknowledged my frustration; apologizedand; lowered the volume; and made the extraordinary effort to transform our dinner into a very very pleasant experience. No easy task. Kylie deserves a raise! A very big raise! She single handedly guaranteed our return to Monkeypods.
Food was great: mahi mahi, hamburger and cucumber/avocado salad.
Blaring, unsettling and very very non-Hawaiian music. A member of the management staff told us the selection is made by the owners. We go to Monkeypods for dinner in order to experience an oasis of calm in an otherwise hectic day. The music selection at Monkeypods is consistently (we dine there monthly) inconsiderate to the patrons. Why not try, let’s say...Hawaiian music! What a novel idea for a restaurant located in...Hawaii!
Went with relatives and had a nice meal with excellent service. We had a vegan inthe group who was easily able to find food to eat in addition to us omnivores. The MaiTai with the lilikoi foam was amazing.
The drinks are creative and delicious
Menu is diverse, everything we have tried has been amazing. The service is impeccable.
Would highly recommend!
Amazing Mai Tai's and hand cut fries!
The food is always good.
Always a great place to dine. Good food with friendly service. Best cream pies around!
I've been to the Monkeypod in Ko Olina well over 50 times. It's a perfect location for those who live or are staying right in the resort area. The beer list gradually changes over time, which is a good thing. It's a bad thing that they keep running out of certain beers, which unfortunately has become an unwelcome trend. The food is good, but it would be nice if they could switch up the menu once in awhile for the frequent visitor. For appetizers, I would recommend the pot stickers, and the pumpkin ravioli. Always ask for the specials, besides a steak and seafood special, be sure to ask about the pizza special. Sometimes they have some really good pizza specials (carne asada, and prime rib quickly come to mind). The vibe is good, and sitting outside where they play the music is always nice.
We’ve been here 6 times during our 12 day vacation. It is just the best restaurant in the area. Drinks are amazing, especially the Mai Tai. Every dish we had was so delicious. The service is excellent. All of the life musicians were so awesome. Highly recommend!
It would of been all stars but there isn’t AC, so can get pretty warm in there.
3rd time we’ve eaten here this trip! Delicious food. Wait service is very attentive! Fun happy hour. They were out of some beers, but plenty to pick from. They have wine and mixed drinks too. Had a Mojito w/mint very refreshing
Great garlic chicken wings (or drumettes!) pumpkin ravioli really delicious appetizers.
I had Pete’s Fish and chips... delicious. (Pieces of Fish not too big, but enough if you have appetizers too) love their fries too, crispy.
Quite pricey, but food is good. 15$ for a burger and I have to pay extra for fries. No complaints about restaurant. Should just rethink the menu.
Pizza was cold. Overall was ok being as we had a baby with us but disappointed in the food quality.
The food was delicious. The entertainment was excellent. The atmosphere is perfect. Our server was great!
The food was outstanding and we had the best server! The music was soothing and for Hawaii, it was one of the cheaper date nights we had. Check them out!
Went for 9-11 happy hour and they were out of multiple items but they did their best to make up for it and discount other options
Great food, great service, sooo hot and no air movement.
Very energetic. Music was a little too loud for conversation when we first arrived but they seemed to turn it down as it got later. We had 1 person who was vegan and there was only a couple of choices available but overall, a great time was had by all.
Great spot! Food was excellently prepared. Service was fast and efficient.
Delicious pizza at happy hour prices!
Good food, great entertainment and family friendly.
Food came out slowly but the entrees were tasty . I would still recommend the restaurant but the kitchen seemed slow
My burger was delicious but the fish tacos portions were a bit small for my son-in-law, rugby player, and perfect amount for my daughter.
Some what limited menu. Portions are on the small side but well prepared.
We weren’t seated at our reservation time, but made to wait as if we didn’t have a reservation. Service was poor, we didn’t get our drinks until halfway through our meal. Food was ok, but really overpriced
Great food & drinks! Had a wonderful date night there. Great draft beer list & fun speciality drinks. I ordered one I didn’t like & without me asking the waitress replaced it with a different selection. Was a pleasant surprise. Will definitely return!
Great service, nice decor and interesting menu. Our waiter, Chris, was very personable and made good suggestions for drinks and appetizers. Banana cream pie was delicious!
Always a great experience! Great offerings to share as a table; fabulous cocktails, excellent service!
I was hoping for some place quieter to take my 85 year old mom who lives on Oahu. The food was good, service by David excellent. It is a high energy place with lots of tourist obviously from the nearby resorts. Great family place but if you're looking for something low key and quiet, this is not the place.
Pizza with hamakua mushrooms was delicious, salad big enough to split for two which we did.
Music was nice but we did move to the inside of the restaurant so we could hear each other. Again, a great spot on the west side to celebrate with friends and families.
Casual and fun atmosphere. Wait staff attentive and fun. Management very attuned to individual needs.
We had a great experience at Monkey Pod! They are true to their fresh farm-to-table style of cooking and every dish was so delicious. The service was excellent! And the live music was great. We also appreciate that the management checked in on us and were also very friendly.
Great experience at Monkeypod. Food was so delicious and service was amazing. Would definitely recommend.
Closed for hurricane lane and they didn’t call to let us know
