It was good, but felt the menu was limited. My daughter is a picky eater and couldn't really find anything she could eat. Other than that, I enjoyed my evening.

Great spot in Ko Olina. Food is a little different but very very good, pricey as expected for the area. But hard to beat the ambience and location. LOVE that they do reservations a lot of places on island do not. A go to spot when we have friends visiting the island.

Food is average but I guess the prices are lower compared to other restaurants around which makes it preferable..

Had no GF options other than burgers with no buns that can got at any restaurant. Server told us baked potato’s had
Gluten in them? Overall menu not good, limited options, no one in party enjoyed meal. Went next door for tacos after had much better meal for half price.

Food was very good as always! Especially the banana cream pie!! Our server made us feel a bit rushed in deciding on our entrees but other than that he was fine. The one concern I did have was that we indicated that we would be celebrating an anniversary when making our reservation on Open Table; however, the restaurant did not acknowledge it or do anything special. We always love coming here though for the live entertainment–Izik is the best!!!

The relaxed atmosphere with live music was outstanding. We had 4 children with our party and our server was attentive and patient. One child has severe food allergies so dining out is a challenge, but the Monkey Pod staff made sure she was taken care of. We are extremely thankful for that.

Great time tonight at Monkeypod Kitchen which was a short walk from the Aulani Disney resort we were staying at. Lincoln was our server - great service and so nice the entire night. Great truffle fries and pot stickers - highly recommend both for appetizers. Also had the fresh gnocchi with pork sausage as an entree and the Bourgeois pizza - nice lobster and mushrooms flavors with crunchy and tasty pizza crust. The Monkeypod Mai Tai drinks were the BOMB - amazingly good that we had two each!!! Great food, great service and great time.

I book a reservation on OpenTable for Monkeypods; I dine at the Monkeypods; OpenTable acknowledges that I dined at Monkeypods; and Open Table DOES NOT PROVIDE POINTS. The only question is: why should I bother using OpenTable? The answer is very simple: there is no reason to use OpenTable!
I’m done with OpenTable...Aloha! A hui hou!

Everything from the cocktails (Maui Mule) to apps (corn chowder and pumpkin ravioli) to the main entree (lobster/fish and coconut stew, Saimin, jalapeño mash potatoes) were delicious. Silva, our server, did an excellent job; he was very attentive, efficient, and friendly! We’d definitely go back.

We were seated promptly, and our waitress welcomed us within minutes. She was friendly and attentive during our entire visit. Our food was brought out quickly and tasted great! The pumpkin ravioli appetizer was delicious, as were the kale salad with its yummy dressing and the happy hour pizzas we ordered. The Monkeypod Mai Tai is the best on the island, and the bartenders do not skimp on the rum. We each chose a different piece of pie for dessert. The coconut cream is, in my opinion, the best I have ever had. It has a creamy, silky texture that is amazing. The strawberry and chocolate pies were also very tasty. We sat outside, so the noise level was just right. The live entertainment was just wrapping up when we sat down, but the song we heard was pleasant. The Monkeypod has a fun atmosphere, and it is always a place we go when we are here.

The overall experience was “ok”. Slightly up scale bar and grill. We had a party of 8 for dinner and then 3 of us went back the next day for lunch. The salads seemed to be the best items overall on the menu, however no one had any of the pizzas. The French Fries were very good as well.

Had a reservation and still waited over 15 mins.

With limited options here around these hotels most guests will dine there if and when u want to get away from the properties. That can be a good and bad thing.

I have never been disappointed by a Merriman's restaurant. We have eaten at the Merriman's on all of the islands. This was my first visit to Monkeypod, Oahu, and I was looking forward to some great food. We had two orders of the ahi and I cannot believe how that fish was butchered, literally. It was a crime against a beautiful animal to be treated with such disrespect. The fish was full of sinew and silver skin. The pieces were not filet slices but hunks. The person that cut this fish should not be handling product, at all. The restaurant took care of the dinners but I cannot let go of the condition of that fish. So sad.

The upcountry NY was very good. The cheese burger and mahi was over cooked. Although we asked for a separate plate for the salad the waiter said they would split. Believe it or not, that was a disaster. They hot everything wrong. Should not have been a real big deal, but it turned out to be one. Only thing that saved the dinner were the delicious steaks.

We came here on our last day in Oahu, staying at Disney’s Aulani Resort. It had been recommended to us and didn’t disappoint. We had the lobster deviled eggs, which were awesome, and the chicken wings, which had a great spice and flavor to them. The fish and chips were very good, but the pork tacos are the way to go. There is not a good children’s menu, if your kid doesn’t eat burgers or quesadillas it’s hard. But the service and atmosphere were very enjoyable.

Monkey Pod Kitchen is such a good place to eat--either a full meal or just nibbles. There are so many choices on the menu that sometimes it is just hard to choose! Their bartenders do well crafted cocktails, which I appreciate!

We were initially seated at an awkward table in an isle but the hostess quickly found us another table. The food took quite a long time to come, so we were disappointed. To our surprise, the manager came to our table without us knowing, sincerely apologized for the delay and offered to comp some of the food and dessert. That level of personal service and showing that they really care about the customer experience is truly refreshing.

Excellent service...can’t stress enough how good it was. Food was great. We were there for Happy Hour so appetizers were 1/2 off and pizzas were $10. Pretty good value for this resort area.

Monkeypod was amazing. At night they have live music which is fun. We sat outside and the ambiance was great. I ordered the kalua pork noodle bowl and it was SO good. Not too heavy but still filling. I also had a mai tai which had passion fruit foam on top and that was amazing as well. Our waitress was very attentive and the food came out quickly. Would definitely recommend!!

Went to Hawaii for our honeymoon two years ago. Found monkeypod in Maui. Loved it so much that this time we came to monkeypod in Oahu. Place does not disappoint. Came twice during our visit.

Only one issue...we over ate. But that’s cause we wanted to try a lot of items on their menus each kept getting better and better. Drinks are awesome, love the Mai Tai. Will definitely visit again when we come back

We were VERY disappointed in the lobster and fish fettuccine. The lobster was VERY chewy and the sauce was way too spicy. The pizza was good and the fish tacos were spicy and not the best we had while there. We won’t hurry back, sorry. Too expensive for what we got.

Server was amazing and did an excellent job with our party of 7. After dining here several times, this was the 1st Time upstairs and we realized we prefer downstairs on the outdoor patio. Meals have always been delicious. Restaurant seems as though it needed a bit more upkeep - for example windows near the entry and downstairs bathroom were in need of upkeep. There were 3 or 4 people at the hostesses stand when checking in so perhaps at least one could be repurposed to make the restaurant appear better maintained.

Loved our first trip to Monkeypod. Despite a somewhat chaotic check-in process, the dinner was awesome. I had the fish stew which was like a fresh, delicious curry and my husband had the ahi steak which was pan-seared to perfection. Save room for pie! It did not disappoint!
