   We took our granddaughter to Monarch to celebrate her birthday. Our server, Ceci, was helpful and attentive. We had the Fried Brussels for an appetizer, and they were delicious! Our entrees were the tortelloni pesto, the potato-crusted salmon, and the ribeye steak. All were delicious and we took home leftovers. We love going to Monarch before a show at the Orpheum.

   Overall we did enjoy our dining experience here. The best were the drinks and the Brazilian steak with chili butter! We were a bit disappointed with the extremely high cost of pasta with no protein, it has to be a 80% profit margin for sauce and noodles. The worst part was the service specifically to us. We sat for about 5 minutes before the host came to apologize and get us drinks for the sever. She was busy but wouldn’t even look at us for a solid 10mins. In the entire time we were there she was having great covnos with the other tables and staying on top of everything for them. She only came to our table twice to get the food order and fill/reorder our completely empty drinks. Oh, Then the check drop. I won’t speculate too far as to why all the other tables got way more attentiveness but we were the youngest ppl there. We were 10yr veteran servers and so we still tipped 20% but she missed out on 30-35% tippers

   Excellent dining experience! Staff was knowledgeable and friendly. Service was impeccable. The food was hot and delicious. Atmosphere was quiet and beautiful. Would definitely return!

   I had dinner with a friend at Monarch before a show at the Orpheum. Our server, Cheyenne, was very friendly and helpful. We ordered the Brussels Sprouts as an appetizer and they were delicious! We agreed that they could have been our entree--they were that good! My friend ordered the gluten-friendly pesto (which I tasted), and it was also delicious. I ordered the ratatouille, and found it good, but not great. The presentation was beautiful though. Service was prompt and we had plenty of time to eat and talk, and made it to the show with time to spare.

   Need more staff as service was painfully slow. Need to update website menu as different than restaurant menu! Had picked out dinner on line that my wife could eat and not on House menu!! Bar was out of what we wanted to drink for the second time. First time was orange juice and second was Bud Lite. Food was over salted and not good flavor.

   We had not been to Monarch for almost a year. We absolutely loved the new, updated menu! We had mussels for an appetizer – they were huge, the side wedge salad, I had Châteaubriand with brussels sprouts and my husband had the duck confit. Everything was perfectly delicious!

   The food here is great. They have recently added some new items on their menu, some of which are gluten sensitive and tasted delicious!

   We had dinner and made reservation on open table. Was easy. Then we got there and had a good server, but the food was not the best. The ambiance is amazing. They have a large drink menu. Ordered an old fashioned and they ran out of what was on menu and subbed something without telling us. The appetizer of calamari was horrible. It was over fried and the server had to take it back. We couldn’t eat it. He took it off the bill. Had the potato leek soup. Was alright but lacking flavor and seasoning. The Brussels are amazing. They come with orange slices and apples. The pesto tortellini was amazing. Homemade and gluten free and so much flavor. Was just cold. The steak and frites were good but the frites weren’t seasoned. The tiramisu was ok but not that much espresso flavor. The presentation of dishes is great. The tableware and service was great. Hotel is beautiful inside. Dinner was about 125.

    This was our first time at Monarch. The dishes we chose were very good! Nice ambiance. I think choosing to go in middle of the week was good. I am sure it can get loud and busy on weekends!
