   We got served water just after we sat down. Our waiter was attentive and very nice. My food was great. I will definitely be back.

   The food and cocktails at the Monarch are suburb. Unfortunately, it generally takes at least 15 minutes to get a drink because they have only one bartender attending the bar and making drinks for servers. Not only does she make the drinks, but she also waits on the tables in the bar. The food also is very slow, 40 minutes or so. I would recommend this restaurant based on the food, but plan for at least 1.5 hours if not more if you go - especially if you will be trying to make a show after dinner.

   Food was excellent. Service was excellent with great recommendations. Value was good for a high-end restaurant. The area was a little noisy - or it could have been one particular group of business men who were louder than they needed to be. Not the restaurant’s fault.

    I set up a reservation here the weekend before Valentine's day, it was for my parents to celebrate it early. They have different work schedules and I wanted them to give this place a try, which I am very happy that they decided to go. My parents told me they had an amazing experience at the Monarch, the food, the environment, and the service were all superb! They told me how elegant and romantic the place looked. My mom wanted me to put here what they ordered as recommendations to YOU: for appetizers they ordered, the Farmer's Market Flatbread and Lobster Bisque. For the main dishes, the Morgan Ranch Strip loin and the Pan Roasted Duck! Lastly, for desserts they had the Marble Banana Cheesecake and Blackberries & Poached Pears. I want to give a special thank you to Kyle and the team who were kind, tentative, and friendly for not only reading my note, but also making my parent's date perfect in every way! My parents will definitely come back again (hopefully I can come along)!

    We absolutely had an amazing time at Monarch! It was our first time dining there. Everything looked amazing in the menu, so we had a “Chef’s Choice” for our dinner. The presentation of each course was flawless as was the taste. Our server Paige was very knowledgeable about the menu and very personable too. Great experience!

    Exceptional service! Asked if we were going to the show to pace our meal. Comped an app because it was slow (to them not us!). Food was exceptional. Will be back many more times. Between food, service and ambiance this is a new favorite!

    This restaurant has a new chef and menu, post covid. The menu is much smaller, but the food continues to be excellent. The service, unfortunately, is bad. We were there last night and they are clearly understaffed. The waiter had to be summoned to take our order. I ordered a second drink that was never brought to the table but was added to the bill (they eventually removed it). we ordered dessert, which did not show up for over a half hour. when we inquired, the waiter eventually brought the wrong dessert to our table and apologized about putting in the order wrong and told us he hoped we would enjoy the dessert anyway. And yes, we were charged. Omaha has many wonderful restaurants. I would suggest trying a different one.

    Good cocktails, great food, and a fantastic setting. We were staying at the attached hotel. The restaurant was busy on Saturday, but less so on Sunday when we went. It was a nice, quiet experience. Try the steak and frites and the lobster bisque.

    Absolutely wonderful! Food was so delicious, drinks were fun with new twists on classic and classics! I had the salmon and was cooked perfectly with the potatoes and asparagus. Finished with the banana cheese cake. WOW

    This was our first time eating at Monarch and I am so glad we went there. I had the flatbread for my entree and my daughter had salmon. We both cleaned our plates as the food was delicious. Both the Hostess and our waitress asked if we were going to the show after dinner, so we knew we would be served quickly and have time to eat. I will go to Monarch again and will tell my friends. It was a great experience!

    I thoroughly enjoy pre-show eating at Monarch. They have great food with excellent proximity to the Orpheum. From the plentiful Charcuterie board through to the poached pears dessert, the meal was top-notch. The only thing making me not give a 5-star food rating is the overcooked chicken that was still quit tasty despite being a bit dry. We go there consistently and love it.

    The service was good. We got in as planned and did not have any long waits. Servers were pleasant even though it was evident they had several tables to manage. The portions were good. Our appetizer was okay, but the entrees were delicious.

    We treat ourselves to dinner out every weekend now that the kids are out of the house. We were running out of nice Omaha choices and tried Monarch. Very pleased with our experience. Atmosphere was intimate and fun and the food was nicely prepared. Glad we can add them to our weekend choices.

    We've never had anything to eat there that we didn't love. Even the cocktails are perfect. Paige waited on us yesterday and was personable and efficient. She even knew that the show we were attending at the Orpheum was actually playing at the Holland Performing Arts Center. Oops and thank you!

    Started with a very well made drink from their fully stocked bar. Then to our table for a very well prepared meal with great presentation. Love the atmosphere and yet again our server was great. Friendly and very attentive. Always love Monarch.
