Used to go to Isle across the street but their casino/restaurants/service have not met expectations as of late. Decided to try Monarch Steakhouse for a special occasion with family and we were blown away. 6/5 stars and was happy to see Dustin working at Monarch now. Dustin has always provided top notch service and is a huge asset to Monarch now. Thanks for the great meal and experience. We’ll be back.

My mother, sister, brother and I dined at the Monarch Chophouse the night before thanksgiving. Having waited quite a while to see this beautiful new steakhouse, we were pleasantly surprised at the elegance and attention to detail that was obviously given to this venue. We enjoyed the prosciutto wrapped scallops and foie gras torchon, both were delectable! Our server Dustin had recommended the Torchon and also the mushrooms in a jar, and we loved both. The steaks were cooked to perfection, so tender and so juicy, and just the right amount of seasoning. The service was outstanding, not only from our server Dustin, but the entire staff, from the moment we entered the restaurant. Dustin, and the bussers’ Uriah and Trinity were outstanding, super attentive, and polite. We asked when they had opened, and they told us it was their first week open to the public. And wow, they really hit it out of the park! My family and I would recommend the chophouse at Monarch to anyone on any occasion! We have all enjoyed many years of fun in Black Hawk, and sampled the various “fine dining” options throughout the years. But the Chophouse at monarch is indeed, not just one step ahead of everyone else in town! No! They are many, many steps ahead of the close knit competition. My mother is extremely hard to please and she couldn’t stop raving! So BRAVO chophouse staff! The manager Daniel stopped and chatted with us frequently, insuring everything was perfect, which is something we aren’t accustomed to in Black Hawk. We will be returning as often as we can. Do yourself a favor and give this TRUE FINE DINING experience a chance if you’re ever in Black Hawk. You will not be disappointed👌 BRAVO!!

The Chophouse at the Monarch Resort in Blackhawk is amazing! We had an incredible dinner! The service was unbelievable......in spite of the COVID restrictions, we were treated like royalty! The atmosphere is beautiful!
