   We Waited for a few minutes past our reservation time, it was worth it. Our server Carrie was fabulous, well informed about the menu and what was coming from the kitchen looking awesome. Our steaks were amazing and cooked to perfection. Left overs were guaranteed and we took dessert to go. Thank you for such a wonderful place to go when we were just escaping from our everyday.

   Recently remodeled, the Monarch Chophouse is on par with any high end steak house in the state. The service was friendly and attentive, beautiful dining room with a mix of large tables and intimate booths, and, most importantly, all of the food was excellent. In particular, the A5 wagyu blew us away with a ridiculous level of marbling, perfect cook temp, and depth of meaty flavor that wagyu is known for but rarely delivers on. Topped off with a heavily smoked old fashioned, the dinner was a memorable experience that we will repeat!

   Eric was an absolutely amazing server. The food was delicious and the ambiance was romantic and lovely. Very pricey, but worth it for a special treat/vacation. Definitely recommend!

   We very much enjoyed our dinner and Carrie (our server) was wonderful. We spent under $300 for a lovely steak dinner for two (including cocktails, dessert, and 20%+ tip). Beautiful restaurant and everything we ate was delicious. Looking forward to going back again!

    Consistently amazing experience - the table side preparation of Caesar Salad and Steak Diane is over the top. All of the management and staff are incredibly welcoming and fun. Chad is among the most attentive and well versed servers we have ever had and is one of the many reasons we keep coming back. Full 5 stars plus.

    This is the place we chose to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary. It was outstanding! From service to food, we were quite pleased. It's not cheap but I don't think we could have found a place anywhere in this vicinity to match this gem.

    We were celebrating a birthday and went big!! Ordered a nice bottle of wine from a very fancy list on a very fancy backlit tablet. Had the bison carpaccio, which was very pretty and interesting in concept but quite salty (I like salt!). The only negative was the bison was overshadowed by the capers and cheese on top--couldn't taste the bison at all. We shared a 16oz strip steak which was cooked to perfection and came with a dollop of delicious mashed potatoes and mushrooms in a dark brown sauce. The baked potato came with all our favorite toppings. Bonus chef bites were brought to our table intermittently. Birthday lava cake with candle also a nice surprise. Waitress presented us with red roses and individual bagged coffee cakes with the bill. We were very impressed with the array of professional servers who made our dining experience a delight. The restaurant is expensive, but worth it for an impressive night out.

    Super fancy nice expensive restaurant I've had better steak the steak was not bad presentation was good I got the New York strip 16 oz oscar style if you can afford a bit more money get the dry age 10 oz New York strip medium rare pretty pricey the food could be better for what they are charging

    Our group went to the Chop House to celebrate a birthday. From the time that we walked in we were treated like royalty. The service was far and away the best that I have ever had. We all had the bone in Ribeyes and we all agreed that they were the best that we have ever had. The Chophouse set the bar so high, that I don't believe that we will ever have a better experience and dinner anywhere else.

    The maitre de was wonderfully kind, engaging and attentive. The food was superb. The Sea Bass was cooked perfectly. My only preference would have been to have a slightly less rich sauce. The fish and potatoes were kind of swimming in the sauce, which was a big heavy. Over all, it was a superb meal and was easily the best food and service at Monarch.

    We enjoyed our dinner at The Chophouse in The Monarch Casino. Staff was excellent, food was good, although a little pricier. I notified Open Table that we were celebrating a birthday, but no one mentioned it. Was a little disappointing because the manager went by the booth next to us to say happy birthday to someone multiple times and my wife was a little disappointed (not that she really needs it, but it is a nice touch).

    Great service, really good food with a very nice quiet dinning area. Priced as a high end steak house for sure but all in all it was good! Party of three the bill was $495.00 plus 100.00 tip total of $600.00

    We were treated like royalty. Two of us had the Mother’s Day special, and the other members of our family had the bison steak and scallops. Everyone enjoyed their meal. Zach waited on us. He was personable, informative, simply top notch!

    We had the seafood tower for two and a bottle of wine that the sommelier helped us choose. He was friendly, and knowledgeable. our waitress Carrie was so efficient and amiable. She was such a great waitress. The young man that made the ceaser salad was so friendly and made a great salad. All in all it was a memorable night and we enjoyed ourselves immensely!!!

    We really wanted to like this spot. We recently moved to NW Denver & love to gamble (& love good food/wine). It was our anniversary & we were looking forward to staying at Monarch & having dinner here. Firstly, our cocktails took 20 minutes from our order to arrive & the table next to us were sat after & were served cocktails first. The French onion was good but that was the only saving grace & it was your typical steakhouse FO. I ordered 4 oz of A5 Wagyu & my husband ordered the dry aged NY Strip. Both MR. We also got the ricotta gnocchi & whipped potatoes. A5 wagyu- the cook was correct however Japanese a5 is one of my favorite cuts of meat & I couldn’t choke this down. It was soaked in butter & salt (NOT NEEDED) making this decadent piece of meat inedible. NY Strip- came out MW versus MR so we sent it back (not the servers fault). It took another 20 minutes to return the steak & while the cook was better it was again smothered in butter & salt. The mashed potatoes well…salt & butter smothered. The ricotta gnocchi were also inedible. They tasted like chewy pasta tossed in grass shavings 🫣. We paired it all with a bottle of Silver Oak which was good but again, any nice steakhouse will have reds chilled 55-65 degrees. We left about 1/3 of the bottle on the table. Again, it was our anniversary & we were pretty sorely let down. We still had fun gambling & at the casino but the dinner being $500+ we likely won’t be returning or will stick to the mediocre buffet. Also, the service was fine- it was truly the food. The servers & front of house are doing their best.

    This is our third time here. Hands down, best meal in Blackhawk. Every meal has been stellar and keeps bringing us back. However, this experience and last, the service has not been great: not attentive, helpful and slightly pushy. This server seemed put off by us. We will keep coming back though, only because the food is so amazing.

    Took our dad here for his 60th birthday. He said it was the best steak he has had in the last 60 years! Everything from beginning to end was amazing. Wagyu meatball sliders, cocktails, chicken, two steaks, one aged steak and table side gelatos for dessert. The service was wonderful! The smells and different fragrances of the drinks and food was out of this world! Must experience this place!

    Great ambiance. Great wait staff. Food was very soft and tender on the Bison Short Ribs. Chicken was also tender. I recommend the Smokey Rose Old Fashioned. All in all I would recommend you try this place out.
