    We were just not satisfied with the food. I understand that this is more of a luxury experience. The atmosphere and service was amazing. But, the food was disappointing. The crab cakes were tough and bland. The steaks were soft, but nothing to write home about. And the sides were not even worth finishing. For over $300 for 2 people, the value was not there at all. Again, the service was wonderful and they even brought out a nice little cake for my wife's birthday. But the food was such a let down I don't think we'll ever return.

    The steak Diane prepared at the table was a nice touch, and so very delicious! Also enjoyed the beet salad. Service was very good, could be excellent if they wait to address the table until we'd stopped talking.

    The waiter, Eric, was so kind and thoughtful. He made our 25 wedding anniversary dinner special. He made us feel like we were royalty. The food was outstanding! The drinks were original. Everything was perfect! We will definitely be back!!

    This was the second time we ate at this restaurant. The first time we were very pleased with service and great food. On last visit we had a table for six to celebrate my wife's birthday. The service was slow and when we finally got our meals we had to send back sides twice before they were at edible temperature. The steaks were very good and the Chilean Bass was also very good. While not rushed, it should not take 2 1/2 hours to feed a table of six.

    it was our anniversary. we each got a free glass of champagne, and an appetizer sample. we also got a dessert for free with a happy anniversary written on the plate in frosting. i have already told friends about our experience, and we will definitely go back again.

    It was very overpriced for what was essentially overcooked and/or over salted food. We started with the Bison Carpaccio, which was so salty that it was hard to eat. It was drowning in fried capers, which are just little salt bombs. The mustard vinaigrette was also very salty, and the aged guda, of course, also lent salt to the dish. We then ordered the Seafood Tower to share. The crab, lobster tails, and shrimp were all way overcooked. We couldn't even get the lobster meat out of the shell. We showed the manager the shrimp, which were like inedible bouncy balls, and he agreed they were overcooked. The crudo appeared to be a small piece of fish floating in soy sauce with lime juice, so again, very salty. Next, the lobster claw salad was the same story, way over seasoned. The only sauce served that wasn't just a dish of salty liquid was the cocktail sauce. Finally, the oysters had a very funny taste. We were told it was normal because they were British Columbia oysters. I don't know if that is true or not, but they were still the worst oysters we've ever had. The atmosphere was nice, and the service was great, but let's face it... we really only came here for the food, which was a big disappointment. Especially when the bill topped 300 bucks!

    This is our 4th time dining at Monarch Chophouse and as usual it did not disappoint! It was a stellar dining experience from start to finish. Amazing food and ambiance. Every individual on the staff took excellent care of us. Our waiter, Chad, was exceptional! We will definitely be back. We live 200 miles away and it was definitely worth the drive!

    Unbelievable every time I go. Unique flavors on perfectly prepared dishes. Steaks are world class. Seasoned and cooked to perfection. No better place to get an upscale meal. Eric was knowledgeable and the team was on point. Great experience!!

    We waited a long time for one of our cocktails and for our meal. It was an hour before we got our food. Our server did not check on us much. He never asked if we would like another drink or how our food was until we were done.

    Before coming to Colorado I lived in southern California and went to Vegas quite often. The Chophouse is just as great as any top level steakhouse in Vegas.

    Had always looked forward to our visit to the Monarch Casino Hotel. Not only were the slots obviously bad and the food at the Chophouse not as good as the past. A disappointing trip. May have to make reservations at another Facility

    My husband and I enjoy the Chophouse, we have dined here a few times. It is on the pricey side but well worth it. The food is amazing, as are the cocktails, service, and ambience.

    The restaurant is beautiful and all staff were extremely pleasant and professional. While most of the food was very good, and my Steak Diane was perfectly cooked, the mashed potatoes and sauce prepared for my steak was too salty. Overall, we'd give the restaurant a try again and would recommend it to others.

    Incredible. Service was amazing. Food was outstanding. We were treated to dinner by visiting friends (fortunately, as it’s very expensive). Likely the nicest dinner we have ever had. That said by world travelers and dwellers of 5 different states. Highly recommend for a very special occasion.
