Excellent food, great service and fun atmosphere.
Flew into Vegas and had some time to kill before checking into my hotel. Found momofuku and wanted to see if it lived up to the hype. I was satisfied with everything I had, it was fast and delicious, the cooks were nice enough to talk to me since I was sitting up at the chef bar, and the crack pie was everything I wanted it to be. Glad I went
Had heard of Momofuku from Bill Simmons' and Joe House's "House of Carbs" podcasts. The ambience is easy going and non-pretentious It felt like a place that I have frequented regularly, though it was my first time. The spicy cucumbers were delicious as the togarashi gave it a nice little kick and the toasted almonds rounded out each bite. The Grilled asparagus was equally as enjoyable. The wild Alaskan King Salmon had that cedar smoke flavor with each bite and it was cooked well and a good size portion. Finished off the meal with a slice of birthday cake which was a large slice, thus, was shared. Next time I'll get the noodles, but I imagine those will be amazing, given my experience on what I had ordered.
Service was good, staff was very friendly. However, the food was very mediocre. We ordered the Bucatini, pork belly buns, oysters, and the dry age prime ribye. The Bucatini was too sweet. I think it probably tastes good for people who enjoy foods that are slightly sweet, it just wasn't for me. I enjoyed the pork belly buns, it was very tasty. The oysters were not very good, it didn't taste fresh. The dry age prime ribeye had too much fat, and we had to cut off pieces that were way too chewy. It was really more of a $30-40 piece of steak (with vegas mark-up), not worth $98. Overall the ambiance was nice, but the food was underwhelming.
The ramen is not on the menu, but you just have to ask. I was also happy to hear they have vegetarian options for food as well as ramen and ramen broth.
What a wonderful experience! My wife and I dined here for our Anniversary and both of us were blown away by the service and the quality of menu! Get the wagyu potatoes, they sound weird but they are life changing!
The starters were very bad. Only the ribs and whole ducks were decent. Very over priced for the location, setup and ambiance
Excellent and attentive service paired with amazing food makes momofuku a must try in Vegas for Asian oriented dining
Really enjoyed the food. Did end up eating a little too much fat and getting a bit sick later in the night. I would just suggest not getting the pork chop and the pork buns. Though both were great but were very fatty.
The first restaurant ever I'd recommend ordering the chicken over the steak. Wow, best chicken ever.
Great service with outstanding flavors coming out of the kitchen. Theme and vibe of the restaurant was energetic and they get bonus points for the classic hip hop throughout our dinner. A definite visit if you're going to Vegas.
Fried chicken and trout roe with blini are an extraordinary, inspired pairing. If there are only two of you, ask for a half order. It’s plenty.
A little disappointed at the food for the price tag. Food was tasty but not mind blowing. We ended up going to shake shack afterwards.
The best dining experience I’ve ever had the privilege to be apart of.
Amazing experience at Momofuku! Our server was engaged and super attentive. The family style meals are the way to go with groups. They feed much more than listed on the menu. Fantastic food and well priced for the quality. Will be going back :)
Excellent Korean-Chinese fusion food at Cosmo. The vobrant atmosphere might be too loud for in-depth serious conversations, but is great for a casual meal amongst friends.
I would give this place 10 stars if I could. Definitely one of the top 3 dining experiences of my life!! We asked if they had a tasting menu, and Manny (who was awesome) told us to give him our price point and the types of food we liked. Then, the chef created a custom dining adventure just for us. It was AMAZING!! Steamed buns = yum, but this was only the beginning. Corn = great, but still just getting started. Melon/seafood salad = beautiful, fresh with a little kick every now and then, loved it. Bucatini = I didn't even know what this was before I ate here, but it was perfection. The egg was poached perfectly, and the hollow noodles give the pasta just the right texture. Next came the lamb ribs... OMG...O.M.G!! Fall off the bone tender, so much flavor, yogurt sauce... I've never had better lamb. Finally, Manny brought out the porkchop. It was almost too beautiful to eat, and it tasted even better than it looked (and I don't usually like porkchops). Juicy and salty with hints of sweet. I never wanted it to end. If you are looking for a place to experience food in Las Vegas, you've found it. I can't wait to experience a whole new Momofuku adventure on our next visit!!
Lived up to the hype! Great meal and service!
Momofuku is just unreal, it may be pricey but the food is so worth it. The service was great, all of the staff friendly and helpful, and all of the food and drinks came out so fast. I would recommend the bao buns and branzimo, as well as the crack pie from milk bar.
Fantastic pork shoulder ssam and pork ramen. Good portion size and affordable prices. Very happy we choose to dine there.
Pricey but yummy! Chick pea ramen was delicious
We did the tasting menu and it was sooo delicious! The staff was very nice and attentive. Definitely my favorite restaurant in Vegas!
Simply delicious. Would go again any day of the week
The taste of food fell below expectations compared to last year. The selection of the tasting menu was the worst.
Best restaurant in Las Vegas in my opinion! Our party of 5 ordered a $75 per person tasting menu and were delighted with every dish that our server and the chef selected for us. One highlight was the ramen bowl with Australian truffles. So good! We also got a sashimi appetizer with caviar, tenderloin steak, pan fried branzino, and an asparagus side with the tasting menu. In addition, we ordered a pear and burrata appetizer and excellent rose wine recommended by the sommelier. The service was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. We loved the ambiance and beautiful views--recommend asking for a table near a window and/or away from the busy open kitchen (unless you love watching the chefs work.) Definitely a splurge but totally worth it.
Incredible meal here at Momofuku Las Vegas. Very accommodating for a large group of 12, and not pushy on pre-fixe options. Service was impeccable. Food was great as per all of Chang's restaurants in his empire. Blown away by the service - highly recommend!
A very mixed dinner. We had a special: truffle ramen, which was outstanding. Truly memorable. Than had the salt and pepper lobster and shrimp. Very expensive for a mound of fried food. There was a drizzle of condensed milk which I could see but added no flavor. The taste of the lobster and shrimp was lost under breading. Dessert was excellent-crack pie is always the way to go. I was hoping for a perfect meal for my anniversary. We left confused.
Incredible and innovative menu and outstanding service. Get a seat by the kitchen bar for the full experience!
The food was so good! Service was 5 stars and my clients loved the experience. Thanks for making it so amazing!
Truly excellent meal.
Salt and pepper lobster and shrimp was amazing! Bo Ssam was the best pork I’ve ever had. A must try when visiting Vegas. Can’t forget the pork buns, simply amazing!
Awesome anniversary dinner! Cooper and Dustin were amazing, and took excellent care of us. We had the roasted corn, pork belly and shrimp buns, lamb ribs, and later came back to milk bar for the crack pie with cereal milk soft serve. Amazing!!
Incredible meal and service through and through. Go chef’s choice - completely worth it!
Amazing! We had dined here for the first time in May and had the duck...the best meal I have ever had! Tonight I was back in Vegas for work and took a coworker with me. I ordered the rice cakes and a pork belly slider and it was delish! Does not disappoint! Impeccable service, food, cocktails, and atmosphere.
Food was great. However, parts of the service were not amazing. We waited a long time until our beverages came, and then took a loooong time after that to have somebody asking us if we wanted more. Some services are exceptional (e.g. the man serving water was constantly checking on us), but others do not live up to the expectation.
It has all been said. Some wonderful and innovative dishes such as the spun sugar wrapped fois gras and the pork belly slider.
Not cheap, but I will return to delve deeper into this créative cuisine
Our server was amazing (wish I remembered her name). She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu, and gave us excellent guidance. I ended up having the truffle ramen because I was feeling a bit ridiculous, and holy hell was it delicious?!?! Our appetizer was amazing as well. . . the Hawaiian??? I know it was yellow tail with a sliver of delicious pepper and a fabulous sauce. Buttery delicious. We will be going back to venture out of the ramen realm for sure. David Chang, you rock!
It was underwhelming to say the least. We had:
Pear and Burrata salad - the best thing we had
Miso Asparagus - 2nd best thing
Pork Belly Buns - good
A5 Wagyu potatoes - meh
Salt and Pepper Lobster - all you can taste was salt we were a party of 5 and barely ate half of the order.
The service was exceptional which is why I gave 2 stars but the food was definitely not worth it.
Delicious food, helpful and nice staff, great view of the city.
I live in Las Vegas and LOVE this restaurant. Have eaten here multiple times and always had a great meal and received great service. The new tasting menu was over the top fantastic!
