Great little restaurant! We went on a Sunday at 5. So when we arrived it was quiet. Got busy by the time we left but still wasn’t loud. Nice ambience. They have a patio outside that looks very nice too. Some of their menus items are pricey, but there you can get a pasta dish from $24. Appetizers we tried were the mussels and also the scallops with artichokes. Both were excellent!!We had the Seafood Fra Diavolo. It was delicious! Dessert we had the panne cotta and a layered mousse. Both were fantastic! I would recommend and would definitely go back. Our server was attentive, she gave us plenty of time to look over the menu. We didn’t have to wait too long for anything, except the dessert at the end, but by then all the tables were full, so that is understandable.

Our dining experience started with a great server Karen and was followed by an awesome meal. We ordered 3 specials all were delicious. Drinks have always been smaller than average at Momento but good. I did miss the hot rolls with the olive oil & ricotta cheese, they served olive oil & focaccia instead. Highly recommend this restaurant. Have been here several times always consistently great food.

This was the most enjoyable experience we have had in a long time. We travel a lot and all over with the ability to dine in many amazing restaurants. This gem took us by surprise! We are in the area for a family wedding and relied on Open table to get us a good place to dine. Happy to say we were not disappointed and instead delighted by the the ambiance, great service by Lorraine and amazing food of which one of the chef’s came out to plate. We tried their mushroom soup, asparagus soup, shrimp scampi, coq au vin chicken dish, and sweet corn ravioli in truffled butter and truffles. We also had their special dessert of the night which was caramel with lemon mousse and their chocolate mousse. All of it was divine!!! We highly recommend coming here especially with such a desirable wine list and drink specials. All delicious!

My husband and I were visiting from out of town and found Momento and we’re enticed by their menu. We ate outside, it was a beautiful night. Alaina was our waitress and she was outstanding. Personable, attentive and professional. The food and presentation was outstanding! We enjoyed every bite. We are just sorry we don’t have a Momento near us. Very pleased!

This was a wonderful find! What a neighborhood gem. We were visiting the area for a work event and needed a place with good menu selections that were not "tavern selections". This was fantastic. The quality and execution of the dishes was outstanding. The variety and choices were perfect and the homemade aspects were the icing on the cake! From the bread to the Creme Brule....delicious! Oh, and there is an excellent wine selection as well. If in the area again, we would not hesitate to go back!

This was a last minute reservation, and I am so glad we found Momento! We love sitting at the bar, as it’s a more intimate experience for us. Our bartender was incredibly talented and crafted cocktails for us—even surprising me with liquid nitrogen for a fun effect in my martini. We had the squash blossom special and beet salad as appetizers, both were delicious. We ordered pastas for dinner and while both were tasty, the ricotta gnocchi special with mushrooms and black truffles was the standout. I’ve never had gnocchi so pillowy and soft…we even commented how light they were for a dish with such earthy flavors. I would drive the two hours back to the Poconos for that dish alone.

This was our first meal at Momento. We were impressed from the start by the warm greeting we received from the hostess who showed us around before seating us at a window seat for two. Positive impressions continued as our server presented us with the extensive wine, cocktail and dinner menus and the visit from the chef himself who discussed his Northern Italian lineage, his time at some of the first class New York restaurants and his history in the Poconos. Our wine and excellent cocktail were followed by Caesar salad and tuna “Tar tar”. We chose freshly made pasta dishes, one with beef and the other with sausage and broccoli rabe, both well made and enough for two. Mousse for dessert ended a delightful meal and started the thought of a return visit.

Food is always excellent. I love chef Nicola's creativity in making dishes different and exciting. Even "simple" dishes like chicken parm is outstanding and delicious. Absolutely loved the chef's tasting menu, I had dishes I would not ordinarily order, but wound up loving them.

Food was excellent per usual. Wine list leans heavily towards Italian bottles. Unfortunate for me as I feel more confident ordering French or American wines. Ended up getting a Napa pinot noir by the glass, which was fine. Waitress was knowledgeable, professional, friendly, and confident. Best service we've had in any restaurant in a long time. Very happy with overall experience. Will return.

Do not judge a book by its cover! This restaurant is a diamond in the rough. From the ambience to the service to the decadent food, we will absolutely be frequenting this place again. If you like truffle, the menu options are endless and delicious. Strongly recommend!

one of the best meals i’ve ever had in my life. starters, salads, entrees, dessert all phenomenal. incredibly personable staff, clean restaurant and worth every penny. try the zucchini flowers and the pear salad if they’re on the seasonal menu. our pasta was rich and flavorful, seasoned to perfection. expect smaller portion sizes, perfect for trying multiple things on the menu and not feeling sick by the end.

We were a little disappointed in our experience. Appetizer had no flavor, and was a tiny portion for the price. Chicken was over cooked and dry. Expectations were high, especially for the price point, so we weren’t happy. Gnocchi, however was cooked perfectly, and my husband liked his main dish.
