   Food quality was really good. Pacing of food was a bit too random for this type of quality meals… sharing starter was brought together with the soup… main dish was first served for 1, and then 20mins later (we had been told that it would take 20mins so that was not a problem) the second person would be served… we had to ask to keep the first dish warm such that we could have a joint meal … Not dramatic, but again, for this high end dining, you’d expect the service to be on par with the food quality.

   Best Yellowtail sushi I've ever had. Tempura was great and unique too. Cucumber Cooler is refreshing. Keep in mind Houston is having major power outages due to Hurricane. Hard to find restaurant within hotel but keep looking. Inauspicious door on 2nd floor.

   One of the dishes was served in a to-go container. Food was mediocre and felt lazy for the prices. Service was good though.

   I can not say enough good things about this restaurant. The wait staff was very knowledgeable and helpful with selections. Food was so fresh and delicious I highly recommend you try it.

   Our meal was amazing! Great service, we got the miso soup, the sea bass, garlic fried rice, wayu roll, and everything was delicious.

   The entire experience was phenomenal! This was my third visit during my week stay at the hotel. Everything from the hostess, the bar tender, wait staff, to the food was amazing.

    The chefs here value taste AND artistry. The small details are so present, but it doesn't turn this into one of those "for the aesthetic" restaurants. Taste is the star, without any doubt. We had the Sashimi Moriawase and it is possibly the freshest fish you will ever taste. I don't know if the chef was out there in the bay catching the fish right before his shift, but that's what it tasted like. The seared Japanese A5 Wagyu was absolutely incredible. This was how steak is meant to taste. No frills. I don't know how long this restaurant will stay as "low-key" as it is, but you wont find better value for money in Houston right now.
