   Dumplings and entrees tasty. Wine list needs work and no bourbon listed on menu but saw on way out. Sat upstairs which I would never recommend and service was SLOW, very slow. Say down 630 and left well after 8.

   We had a great experience. Highly recommend their dumplings. We all of them except the impossible dumplings. We also ordered a side of fried rice, the sake flight, kimchi tots and Mofu Wings. We were not a fan of the wings with nuocmam lime glaze. Overall food was delicious, service was great!

   Decided to stop by last minute. Our group loved every dish we shared (about half the menu), and we will absolutely come back. Our waiter was polite, knowledgeable, and considerate, and he was essential in making my friend’s birthday a great one. 5/5 service and food!

   I think that 12 for 5 dumplings is a little expensive. They were pretty good I guess I was expecting a little more. But would definitely come back to try different dishes !!

   A good variety of food. The sticky short ribs were fabulous, as was the glass of sparkling rosé I ordered. Pickle plate is great and a great value.

    MOFU is a beautiful restaurant that is open and inviting. Even when it’s busy, it’s relatively quiet inside. The food was amazing. It was my first time having a bao bun and i’m in love with them! The impossible and chive dumpling were my favorite. They’re seasoned/made in such a way that you’d never know it wasn’t real meat (perfect for new vegetarians and those wanting to try new things). MOFU will definitely be one of our frequent date spots.

    As a first timer, my server could’ve done a little better with explaining things when asked. He wasn’t an active listener, he was very quick to respond, before we could fully ask the question. We asked about a few things & one response was “it’s just cooked”. The fried rice was very salty, the chicken wontons were good as well as the Thai chicken wings. Overall the experience was okay, but not something I’d rush back to.

    We really enjoyed the fish bao bun and the chicken confit stir fry. We were disappointed they didn’t have a decent blended scotch, and I had to upgrade, which was quite pricy!

    I love this place! Checks all the boxes. However, I was very taken back when we arrived to the restaurant for our 6pm dinner reservations. I was quickly told that we would need to be done with our meal by 8 PM as there was another reservation coming in. I felt it was rude. I wasn’t dining at a Cheesecake Factory with quick turnover nor was a college student at a coffee shop drinking one latte over a four hour period. I am an adult woman out to enjoy a meal with a friend . I don’t want a stopwatch running before I even sit down. Some extra training at the front may be a good idea . Other than that the food I amazing, the server was knowledgeable and the ambience is great.

    We had an early dinner downtown tonight at an old favorite we haven’t been to in awhile. We were quickly reminded of what we had been missing out on with each dish that was brought to our table. My husband and I decided to share some plates and admittedly we got too many for just the two of us, but we were happy to take the leftovers home. We started our meal with the Pork and Chive Dumplings that were so flavorful with the accompanying sauces. We also got the MOFU wings splitting the order between the two sauce options. The wings were larger than normal wings and the green goddess sauce was so good with it. After that, we ordered the Brussel Sprouts. We were hesitant at first due to the tofu puffs listed in the dish, but our wonderful server assured us they were a great addition and took on the flavor of the Brussel sprouts. He wasn’t wrong and they were delicious-probably some of the best Brussel sprouts I’ve had in Raleigh. We finished our meal with the Sticky Short Ribs and a side of Fried Rice. The short ribs were literally falling off the bone and melt in your mouth delicious. At this point we were too full to finish them all, but as I said earlier we were happy to take the leftovers home to enjoy the rest of our meal later. Overall a great meal and excellent service- we will be sure to not let as much time pass between our next visit!

    We had a great first experience at MOFU! We made a reservation the morning of and promptly got seated when we arrived. The atmosphere was perfect for a date night! They were out of a special syrup to make the first drink I ordered. Our server recommended another drink and the way he described it, totally sold me! And I'm glad he did. Our food was to die for and we look forward to coming back soon to try all the other items.

    Was looking for a place open on a Tuesday night to grab a bite before a show at Lincoln Theater and found MOFU. 3 of us shared the Brussels, the Kimchi tots and the pork & chive dumplings. We loved them all, but the Brussels with the crispy tofu were definitely our fav! Food came out quickly and we had no problem making it to our show in time.

    Such yummy dumplings. Also tried the brussels sprouts, short ribs, asparagus, chicken fried rice, and pork with noodles. Everything was delicious. Our server was attentive without being intrusive. Oh, and the cocktails are fantastic; we ordered the old-fashioned and the margarita.

    This was an awesome dinner choice! I went with my SO, and we ordered a couple dumplings and shared 3 small plates and everything was incredible! I was partial to the chicken and ginger wonton, twice cooked pork belly, and kimchi tater tots! I will be back to try their large plates and other options!
