   Definitely at the top of my favorite restaurants. Love everything I've tried here and we make it a point to travel to Omaha, specifically to dine at Modern Love, everytime we visit family in Lincoln. In fact, we often order extra in order to take back leftovers to enjoy later.

   Modern Love has always been such a wonderful restaurant. You really can't go wrong no matter what you order. They have something for everyone, vegans and meat lovers alike. The service and environment were also wonderful, as always!

   I brought my fiancé there for a late valentines dinner. We were both excited to try the food as we’ve read great things. The waitress and other staff seemed nice. Our order was completely wrong and only one of the two entrees were brought out to us. She stated she was confused?? We went over what we wanted with her and substituted one ingredient AND she wrote it down. So while waiting for my partners food to be made, since the waitress was confused and didn’t put the order in, my food got cold. The to go containers had debris in them which is probably because they keep the to go containers at the bottom of a stand facing up instead of down. She saw it has she was handing them to us then apologized and gave us new containers. Good food, but the experience was bad.

    Modern Love's food is consistently wonderful, but very expensive for comfort food. That said, the portion sizes are lovely which makes for leftovers to make it all the more worth it. Had a great dinner - thank you.

    We used to love this place. Tonight was a miss. Drinks took forever. Had to go to the bar and ask. Wine came to the table without being opened. And it was the wrong wine. We left half the bottle of wine because it took so long to get it. Hope to never return

    Modern Love never disappoints!! This time around we had the mushroom fried chick’n, warm spinach artichoke dip, mom’s meatloaf and the tiramisu. All absolutely delectable dishes, if I had to rate the experience on a scale of 1-10 (1 being the worst and 10 being amazing) I’d give MoLo a 10,000/10

    Fantastic food. Great service. My wife and I have been wanting to try this place for months but weren’t able to because we live in Lincoln and required a bit of planning. We will definitely be returning.

    I’m offering this review because I would want it it if I were owner. Our server suggested we keep our forks from our appetizer for our next course. The forks were covered in cheese sauce from nachos. I ordered a gimlet and was told there was no gin. It was shocking no gin was there when a couple drinks that included gin. I was stuck ordering a second beer because gin is my liquor of choice. Then we were given a wrong beer. Rather than complain, we kept the wrong beer. Then, the correct beer was dropped at our table and we had 3 beers for 2 people. It seems the staff should have run out to buy gin. Overall a bit of a clusterf***.

    I love your food! My non vegan friends loved the eggplant lasagna, liked the pasta and loved the desserts They were out of two soft beverages IMO your desserts should be smaller and cheaper. Love Modern Love!!!

    We had a table of 4 (only 2 of us were vegan)and everyone thought their meal was excellent! Recommend the Alfredo - fried chicken mushroom entrée and eggplant lasagna! Brownie à la mode dessert and also the raspberry lemon cheesecake was a hit! Thank you Modern Love best in Omaha!

    When it’s my turn to choose a place to go out with friends, I always pick Modern Love. They have great choices for both our vegan and gluten-free members, but everyone loves it no matter their eating style. It’s quiet and beautiful with amazing food.

    Our lasagne was decent, no complaints on that. The kale salad we ordered to share had a very odd flavor, and after a couple of bites we abandoned it. The waitperson later took it off our bill. The tiramisu we ordered for dessert was just about inedible, and we left it after a couple of bites. Hard to imagine that anyone would think they could best a classic dessert like tiramisu, and put before us something that bore no resemblance whatsoever to the original. Very disappointing. On a Sunday night the place was fairly busy but relatively quiet, but also felt a bit forlorn. If we'd have known it was a vegan restaurant, we'd probably have made different meal choices. We're not averse to vegan menus, but this one just didn't fly with us. Doubt we'd return.

    So happy to go to a place where EVERYTHING is vegan. I’m gluten free also and they have so many options for me. I usually get lettuce salad when I go out. This is a game changer! Thank you Modern Love for giving me a beautiful and relaxing place where I can eat!

    Nailed it! Beautiful location with Christmas lights right across the road, the food was incredible and service was amazingly friendly, clean restaurant tastfully decorated. I had a hot cocoa and it was superb also was my friends sangria! The best part? Good for the planet, eco-friendly and cruelty free! We will be back, and soon.
