    This is my go to restaurant when I want relaxing excellent meal in Montreal. They usually have some live entertainment at dinner and this was no exception. A young woman, singing jazz standards accompanied by a guitar. Their service is wonderful and relaxed and quite a contrast to the experience I had somewhere else the night before!! Overall, just a gem in old Montreal!

    Everything is really wonderful! Food , service and atmosphere! The music downstairs is very good, R&B the room is small so music is on the louder side. So if quite conversation is what you after , Ask for the bar or upstairs where the music is softer. Overall a great experience. We’ve been many times over many years and have never been disappointed. Highly recommend!

    We had asked for a window seat, and were seated upstairs by the window. The band was playing next to us which was enjoyable throughout our meal. I had the mussels and fries while my husband had the steak. The food and ambiance was wonderful. Modavie is our favorite restaurant in Montreal, and we visit here every time. Highly recommend!

    Excellent dinner last night. Everything from the appetizers to the lamb was delicious. Also our server Tyler was amazing.

    We were told there was going to be entertainment on both floors. When we got there, the band was on break and didn’t start for 45 minutes on the first floor. The second floor there was no music, was supposed to be jazz. The food was terrible. The worst we’ve had here in Montreal. Would not go back, would not recommend. Service at the bar was lacking as well. Bartender was not very friendly.
