    A Feast for the Senses at Kahuwai Bay Perched high above the crystalline waters of Kahuwai Beach and Bay, this Rosewood property offers more than just a meal — it offers a reverie. The view alone is a masterstroke, an unfiltered tribute to Mother Nature’s artistry. But the culinary experience more than holds its own, rising to meet the setting with quiet confidence and restrained brilliance. The menu is a love letter to the sea, executed with precision and reverence. A lobster salad — elevated by creamy avocado and the subtle bite of fennel — is both indulgent and bright. Kampachi, kissed by the grill, arrives with a whisper of smoke and a texture that borders on the sublime. And the ono, served in a delicately spiced coconut curry, manages to be both comforting and transporting. Dessert, often an afterthought in beachfront kitchens, reaches its crescendo here: the pineapple upside-down cake is an ode to tradition, yes, but also a revelation — warm, tender, and unforgettably good. This is a place where Hawaii’s natural splendor meets the thoughtful service and refined sensibilities of Rosewood. Guests would do well to linger past sunset, not just for the view, but to absorb the layered history of the property. Ask about it — the staff are as proud as they are informed.     The breakfast buffet offers a wide variety of options, including multiple tables with different food stations. There is a large area dedicated to hot food, featuring 8 or 9 chafing dishes for guests to choose from. A juice station provides a selection of different juices for guests to enjoy. Another table is covered with pastries, cereals, and an avocado toast section with a variety of seeds and toppings. A separate table is dedicated to tropical fruits and berries, offering a refreshing and healthy option. Additionally, there is a table featuring standard breakfast items such as waffles, pancakes, and yogurts with a variety of toppings. In terms of pricing, the buffet offers great value compared to the average meal in town, which is $30. Then you give me a 5 star buffet for $55, and the view WOW!!!!.....The overall value of the buffet is excellent, making it our new favorite spot for breakfast. We will be back!
