THE FOOD- It’s locally sourced and as fresh as we can get it; picked from local farms and moved from the field to our kitchen as quickly as possible to be put in the hands of our talented chefs who have created a menu chock full of honest flavour.

THE BEER- Expertly chosen, carefully stored, and perfectly poured, our beer selection is among the finest anywhere, with 120 different brands available we’re sure to have a variety that suits you no matter your tastes.

THE EXPERIENCE- Food & beer is a good start, but MKT has a lot more to offer. Our bar is stocked with every wine, spirit, and cocktail you’d expect from a high-end establishment. Our location gives us beautiful patio seating in the heart of Whyte Avenue’s entertainment district and from time to time, we’ll have live music & unique events to round out the nightlife experience.

I had the MKT burger, and it’s one of the best I’ve had. Dragon’s breath mojitos- top notch! I’m hearing impaired so the noise level was not the best but managed. I’m sure we’ll be back for another burger!

Very good service even though there was an Oilers game and there were a lot of people, the food was great and waitors were kind and attentive.

Service was very mediocre. Our server was really pleasant and helpful but disappeared after 30 minutes after bringing our food and drinks. I had to clear our table and put the dishes on the bar because no one came around. We had to flag someone else down to order more food and drinks. When we asked where our server went, we were told that he was sent home due to the bar not being a capacity. No one told us! We finally got continuous service after that, but being ignored was disrespectful. A manager came over and apologized and paid for a drink for each of us.

We’ve given MKT a few chances over the years, but our most recent visit made it clear we won’t be back. We had a reservation for six and were taken to a side patio couch that was in awful condition — covered in pollen, grime, and bird droppings. When we asked to switch to a proper table, we were told that wasn’t possible. A request to have the area cleaned was met with an eye roll and a half-hearted wipe that barely made a difference. We eventually had to ask for a cloth to clean it ourselves. Unfortunately, the service and food didn’t redeem the experience. Staff seemed disinterested and dismissive from the start. Our nachos came out cold, with congealed cheese, and the entrées arrived at different times and were just as underwhelming. We had to repeatedly ask for water refills, and even then, only some of the requests were actually followed through. The Diet Pepsi was also flat, and only some came with a straw - and when a straw did come, it was in the servers bare hand - sanitary practices don’t seem to be the norm here. We’ve experienced lacklustre visits here before, but this one was the final straw. Between the unsanitary seating, poor food quality, and cold service, there’s just no reason to return — and we can’t in good conscience recommend it to others

Went for the Oilers game, made reservations a week early. When we got there they had given away our table so we got put upstairs. Uncomfortable chairs with not great views of the tv’s. Lots of the beers we wanted to try were not available upstairs or were sold out. A couple of the first drinks we ordered had to be replaced cause the glasses were filthy. Appies were good but my main was the coldest meal I’d ever received at a restaurant. Had sat for at least half an hour not under a heat lamp. Service was absolutely amazing for how busy it was. Never bothered complaining about the experience cause of how good of a server she was. None of the issues were her fault. We should’ve moved on to a different place to watch the rest of the game after the first period.

Horrible! Food was cold and select menu. For a Mothers Day event there was nothing special at all. Last time moms got a gift, this time nothing! Not even an acknowledgment that it was this day. Wasted money and time. Will not be returning.
