We went to Mitchell's for our 46th anniversary. It is the first time we have eaten in a restaurant since covid. We were extremely pleased. The food was delicious as usual, our waitress was very good in all aspects and overall it was a great anniversary dinner.
Got salmon and it was very dry and overcooked. Vegetables were also undercooked and flavorless. Extremely disappointing and my second time there with the same experience. Waitress was good but food made everything go into the toliet. Wouldn't recommend.
We had a party of 7, our table was ready when we arrived and the food came out at a nice pace and was delicious!!!!
Food was good and Rachel outstanding as always
Met my high expectations. Sea bass was particularly good.
Rachel was a wonderful server.
Our server Rachel was awesome - happy and attentive. Also loved her recommendations on wine and food - the Asian style sea bass entree was amazing.
The host was abrupt and grumpy. The wait staff was friendly, efficient and attentive (and one of the stars goes to them). The "sourdough" bread had been made using dough to which vinegar had been added. The scallops were overcooked and thus chewy. The trout was also overdone. We had to ask for lemon slices--they weren't served with the fish course (inexplicable in a seafood restaurant at this price point).
Our visit to Mitchell's and our dinner was delicious!! Our waitress Rachael was knowledgeable, friendly, and attentive! Will definitely go back!
Our server, Vanessa (not sure of name) was superb, and the Caesar salad was extraordinary.
Food was very good. Wait staff was friendly but service was very slow. Reservation was at 6:15 and we left at 8:45. Couldn't distinguish between the cod and the sea bass when order was brought to our table.
Lobster tail used to be fully filled with lobster. Ones served were each half full. disappointed
Rachel served us well. We enjoyed her presence. My only gripe, was the hostess situation when arriving. We had a 6:30 reservation and were asked to wait about 20 minutes. Thankfully, we weren’t on a tight schedule. It’s just a bit frustrating when you take the time to make a reservation and it can’t be honored…. Especially when the restaurant was not full. So, very nice time all in all. Just something to work on, I guess.
We had Bad service, drinks took forever, food mediocre and not hot.
Ordered side of hush puppies and never got them. Asked for bread and never got it. The table behind us got two servings of bread and we got none. The food was barely warm. No drink refills. Really disappointing and way way too expensive for the service and level of food quality that was offered. Worst dining experience I’ve had in a long long time
Pricey. Selection this time of year very limited. Scallops and Ginger crusted salmon were quite good but the side vegetables were very undercooked. Waitress apologized no less than five times for everything from slow service to drink reorder never placed. It took 9 minutes for example, just to get the check after waiting almost 15 minutes to find the server.
Disappointed this visit greatly. Not the first time eating there, but I would hesitate to eat there again.
From the shrimp cocktail, clam chowder, and salad to the halibut and salmon and finally the key lime pie, everything was fresh and delicious!
Slow service, lobster bisque was awful, entrees were good, cocktails were good.
This visit was decent. We came to celebrate our anniversary and it was just ok. Our food was ok, but the appetizer was the best part.
The bread was not baked all the way through. The steak was just ok. We spent a decent amount of money and did not enjoy our food as much this time. Several of our favorite menu items were missing. This will probably be our last visit.
Rachel awesome as always as server, great food
The food was terrible ! The staff was nice and courteous!
The restaurant was virtually empty but at times the service was slow - there may not have been much waite staff. Menu and Food were very good.
Perfect night out. Sat on the patio. Away from others. Super nice server, great food.
Service was outstanding. The food was perfectly prepared. Overall a great dining experience.
As always My server Rachel is awesome
Get the fish and chips and or the shrimp and chips they were delicious!
The food was very good. We had the shrimp cocktail, Fish and Chips and a Carrot Cake for desert. All excellent with a sprightly Chardonnay.
All prices in restaurants have skyrocketed as we all know. We tipped the waitress 20% as this should now be standard.
The fish was amazing and the service was top notch! If you order the carrot cake dessert please note that this can be shared among a small army…MASSIVE hunk of cake!
Food was good (though veggies could use a little more seasoning and cooking); server, Robin, was excellent - friendly and professional; will definitely request her when I return.
The seafood and service is always very good and reasonably priced. However, a 'bowl' of lobster bisque was no more than a cupful and priced at $10.29.
Good experience goood food
We were surprised how the restaurant had changed since the last time we were there. The food was ok. The service was good but the restaurant didn’t seem very clean and looked a bit run down.
Been going here for years, our server Judy is the best. The lobster tail was fantastic and my hand breaded shrimp was very good. They have limited menus snd are still removing from Covid. Hope they bring back the shark fin pie my favorite.
After a short delay, we were seated with our table fully equipped with water and sour bread. The service was excellent and everything was brought to the table in a timely manner.
Always great food and quality service. We'll return the next time we're in town.
worst service, inattentive staff. I would avoid it at all costs
I waitress Meg was outstanding the food was wonderful and I would go there again and again and again
Fenny is excellent.
Jake our server was prompt greeted us with a smile and was attentive. The Negroni delicious after settling over ice sphere and adding fresh lime. The BlackBerry Margarita was perfect! The BBQ wrapped bacon shrimp was flavorful and Blackened fish tacos fresh and tasty could use a little more crisp on the shells. A nice spot to chill after shopping. Oh, and the hostess in bright yellow attire welcomed us with sunshine. A very nice experience, we will return to the patio.
I had fried shrimp and fries, it said it was hand dipped, but looked and tasted like it was prey frozen and overpriced. My husband had Chilean sea bass and it was so small and under cooked. I do not recommend this restaurant now. This was one of our favorite but the quality is way down. The service was good.
