What a fantastic dinner! We'd never had Peruvian food before. Our server helped us navigate the menu, suggesting the best dishes made. The flavors of each dish were delicious. We will definitely be back!

For tables outside it is not the same experience. Ahi tuna causa was a bit fishy, and the lomo saltado had too much cumin. Not a favorite unfortunately.

Hit or Miss. This was a miss. Mistura has always been my special occasion place to take someone for their birthday. The food has always been so creative and fresh, the atmosphere very cool and I loved sharing a Peruvian restaurant with someone who may not have known about it. Last night was my husband's birthday and we went for our reservation. It started with the host stand, 2 very inexperienced women who kept staring at a screen without acknowledging we were even standing there. They were not able to expedite the people coming in. It was medium busy. We got seated and were approached within 10 minutes, a little late but we were fine. Gave our drink order. 10 mins later she returns, no drinks and "the bar's really backed up.", we order 6 different dishes - for 2 of us - we were celebrating. 15 more mins go by, no drinks, no sign of our waitress, so we flag over the hostess, who says "I'll find your waitress." Go check the bar! Another 10 mins and nothing and at that point - 35 mins in - we had to cut our losses, we walked out and went for a lovely dinner at Hotel SLO. This is/was too good a restaurant to let lack of training take you down. You need one ATeam member on the floor overseeing it all. It was a mess.

The food was exceptional. We tried 4 different appetizers so we had the chance to sample more things. All were very well done. We each had a cocktail before dinner and they were amazing. The server was informative and very helpful in helping us decide what to order. We will definitely be returning.
