    Bustling, busy bistro at high but expected prices. Wine list is interesting if a little on the high side but some cheaper options from various off the beaten track places. The room is bright and yet elegant and the staff work hard to make it a fun experience.

    The best restaurant in Boston!! Waiter was excellent with a real command of the menu. Of course the Chef is outstanding with the menu choices, quality and presentations.

    My favorite restaurant in Boston. Great food; upbeat atmosphere. I tried the veal in lieu of my usual go to duck entry, and it was fabulous. Edmund was a terrific server. Valet operation makes it easy.

    Mistral. Ahhhhh. So vibrant and fun yet tastefully seductive and very cozy. Stunning little bar area (visually separate from most dining) that was full of beautiful, happy friends and guests. Hosts and staff were on top of things at all times. And the food?! You won’t be disappointed. I had the crab ravioli appetizer and the salmon entree. The Chef and team definately know how to prepare and deliver food to perfection. At least they did on my lucky night. 👌🏼🤩

    We’ve had good meals here in the past but both entrees we had were not good at all. The service was exceptionally slow and we weren’t in any rush that night. It took 15 min just to order drinks. It was disappointing.

    Everything was wonderful for our Anniversary at Mistral. The staff was terrific and the food quality and service exceptional. The only thing I would recommend is a change in the overhead music genre. Of course we are older in our 60's.

    Bobby and the team provided flawless and unpretentious service. Mistral is so comfortable and delicious and consistent. 25 years and they don’t skip a beat. Tuna tartare is immaculate. Try the lavender lemonade too. Made our 10 year wedding anniversary so memorable !! Many thank you’s.

    Beautifully decorated…all was great…bread was crispy and escargot were good..duck plate was way too much for a single diner…the mash potatoes was somewhat dry…service was attentive and courteous …lights were so dim…had a hard time reading the menu

    The bread was crispy on the outside and soft inside. 2 kinds of spread were served...butter or chickpea, garlic, rosemary and olive oil. That was delicious. I ordered Dover Sole meuniere with lemon and capers and saute of spinach and red onion, 3 fingerling potatoes but you can ask for more. The Dover Sole was a very large portion and plenty for me. It was wonderful. Desert was 3 scoops of sorbet. 2 of Mango and 1 of Raspberry.

    We go to Mistral for special occasions like anniversaries, birthdays, etc. It is our favorite restaurant in Boston. We celebrated our 60th anniversary there last night. It was marvelous and beyond expectations. Everything was perfect from service to food to ambiance. The summer corn soup was soooo good that I could have had it as my main course. The roasted duck and the veal milanese were also wonderful. In all the many times we have been there, Mistral has never failed us. We will definitely continue to celebrate our special occasions there for as long as we can.

    Celebrating our anniversary with friends, we had a wonderful time at Mistral! Everything was great—the food, the ambiance, the wine list, and especially the wait staff. It’s so refreshing to be at a restaurant with such superior service. A special call out to our waiter Bobby who was amazing!

    Haven’t been to Mistral for a while. I had the halibut, wife had salmon, shared a Caesar salad and blueberry dessert. The presentation was beautiful and the food was delicious. We were belatedly celebrating our 50th anniversary and our server, Louis, surprised us by having the pastry chef decorate the dessert plate with “Happy Anniversary”. He blew me away! When I asked about it he said he looked at our OT profile and noticed our anniversary was a few days ago. Appreciate the effort. Thank you Louis.

    Disappointed. My halibut overcooked, was dry. No seasoning at all on the fish. The risotto just ok. I needed salt and pepper on both. My daughter had the steak. Also no seasoning although perfectly cooked. Server was great. Nice wine list. Would not return. Not worth $300.

    This is our choice for our anniversary dinners: wonderful ambienceI for a romantic encounter. If you're looking for an intimate experience, I'd suggest reserving one of the corner tables on the banqutte across the back of the resaurant. Otherwise conversation is a challenge. Dessert was presented w/ "happy anniversary" written in chocolate around the rims of our plates, and our dinner entrees were probably the best lamb chops & duck that we've ever had.

    This is a go-to restaurant for us. Food was great as usual but felt the service this evening was not up to the high standards we’ve gotten used to from Mistral. As well, the bottles of red wine were not chilled. Tough to drink good wine that is a bit warm perhaps due to where they housed/stored it.
