The food was so good and fresh

Totally worth it !
I've been wanting to go to Mistral for several years and we finally made the reservation. It was better than we anticipated. The Maine Crab Ravioli, a signature dish, is heavenly, as were the mussels. The desserts were sublime. We need to go back soon to try everything on the menu. We also really enjoyed the ambiance and the atmosphere. Above all, the service was wonderful. Our server really knew the menu and helped steer us in our choices. A perfect evening out.
Outstanding in every way
Really enjoyed the dinner. Everything was well presented and service was good. Food was delicious and appealing to the eye. Will go back for sure.
One of my favorite places to eat on our visits to Boston.
This was our third visit since post Covid reopening and once again, service was attentive, food was delicious and social distancing and cleanliness were top notch.
Very nice restaurant. Good service and delicious meals. We definitely will come back
The food was outstanding! Service staff was friendly and helpful. They weren’t attentive and kept us waiting to long to order, and get the check.
We enjoyed a fabulous dinner, attentive service, and romantic atmosphere for our last evening in Boston! This was exactly what we wanted to cap off our visit to a great city.
The restaurant was lovely as were the staff. We had a nice table and even a nicer waiter. His name was Klebber. The service was over the top from beginning to end as was the food. Will definitely be back again.
We have been coming here for years to celebrate special occasions. This was the first time since inside dining was opened up. Tables were spaced out and with the high ceilings we felt very safe. Food was excellent especially the chilled corn bisque with crab. The staff gave us a complementary dessert with "Happy 20th Anniversary" written in chocolate sauce. Very nice touch.
Mistral is consistently excellent. Have been several times and will continue to go. Love everything about this restaurant.
Everything was well done given the current circumstances.
One of our favorites. The arugula and sea salt pizza is fantastic.
Visit to Boston, our first post-pandemic. Excellent precautions, incredible service and administration of covid policy. Food and service impeccable. Tenderloin pizza is truly special. Brilliant tuna tartar, fish to perfection, game hen, cutlets, risotto, all wonderful.
Escargot, Tuna Tartare and Maine Crab Ravioli were to die for!
I have been a regular since the week they opened in 1997. The food, service and ambience has never disappointed. They did a great job under the restrictions that we are all living with.
Fantastic experience. The food was excellent: caesar salad, beet salad, halibut, salmon, chicken milanese, fresh bread at the table, and a nice French wine from the Loire Valley. Service was helpful and attentive, and the restaurant is exemplary in following public health guidelines. Tables are nicely spaced apart. For those looking for safe indoor dining at one of Boston's finest, this is the place.
Superb service and wonderful excellent food. An exceptional place for dining. I highly recommend this restaurant. The precautions with the virus are over and above other restaurants.
A wonderful first experience with Mistral. Their reopening was carefully planned and executed and not only did we feel safe but the waitstaff was appropriately attentive but not overwhelming, the food was well prepared and well timed and the atmosphere was quiet and pleasant with just the right hint of bustle.
Cocktails were curated well for the season and the overall feeling was delight.
We will definitely return.
The quality of the food, the preparation and the inventive recipes set Mistral apart above all others in Boston.
You can put your worries behind you. Mistral has taken every necessary precaution to protect you during this time. Very generous distancing between tables, staff is masked and gloved. All the employees are so grateful to have you walk through their doors. Same outstanding service. Same delicious food ! All the traditional items along with some new seasonal options. Always a treat to be in the hands of Mistral!!!
Food was amazing, service was great, wine was awesome!!!
First time out to a restaurant and on our Anniversary
my favorite restaurant in the city. food, service and wine list second to none.
Great experience, the only thing I would have improved was the duck was extremely chewy and contained a lot of fat. This is unusual because I always order it and it is excellent. Probably just a bad cut of meat that day.
Great variety on the menu-had a hard time choosing!! Great ambiance. Perfect “last brunch” before quarantine set in. Looking forward to getting back there.
Great food & service ... unexpected but welcomed attention to detail
Love it and its great service and food.. very consistent
Get yourself to Mistral for brunch! Beautiful sunlit room, great atmosphere, tasty options. Started with a Mimosa and a Brunch Boho cocktail. A must are the cinnamon rolls. We thoroughly enjoyed the Eggs Benedict and the Salmon Benedict. Our waiter Dave was great ... outstanding service and an engaging personality! Give it a try for a special occasion and you won't be disappointed.
Our first time at Mistral. Beautiful setting, delicious food, wonderful service. We were made to feel welcome right from the start. Even though it was very busy, our server Brittany was very attentive and took great care of us. The appetizers - crab ravioli & foie gras - were outstanding! Fro main courses we had tenderloin & sirloin, both cooked perfectly. The assortment dessert was a nice way to finish the evening. Definitely recommend a visit!
Great food and service! Acoustics are not the best but I highly recommend Mistral!
I requested a private and quiet table and they accommodated that no problem. We had a lovely time! The food and drinks were phenomenal!
We started off the evening on rocky footing since our party of four planned on a Dine Out Boston 2020 evening at Mistral. Even though three of the four of us had seen Mistral listed as a participant this year, we were informed when we began ordering that Mistral has not been involved in that program for several years. Very awkward start. The entrees were very good, but not heavenly. I had the pan-roasted cornish game hen, which was almost the size of a small chicken. The meat was moist and the seasoning flavorful, but thevrub that they used was too salty for my tastes. The other three at the table had the halibut, the duck and the lamb osso buco. They all said they liked their choices. As a starter, my husband and I split a lamb's ears lettuce salad with goat cheese. It was tasty, but truly teeny with merely a few bites for each of us. The best part of the salad was the presentation, arriving at the table looking like a potted plant with the greens growing up at the top. Amusing, but vastly overpriced at $17.00. Three diners had the diminutive chocolate samplers for dessert which were again very good, but not terribly imaginative. I had the tangerine tart which was superb. Overall, Mistral did not wow us the way it did in years past and the current prices seem to outdistance both the quality and quantity of the food.
Excellent food is the the reason to go to Mistral.
There are restaurants in Boston with much better ambiance (I find it somewhat cold and bland), and I was disappointed with the service for a restaurant of this food quality and price point.
Excellent meal...just not the total fine dining experience I expect for a top tier restaurant.
outstanding food and service. will definately return
Loved everything about Mistral!
The restaurant has a lovely variety of appetizers and entrees. There is something for everyone.
Always a delightful experience.
wonderful place delicious food awesome staff..Will go back soon
