Came in for a coffee horchata, sure beats anything from Starbucks and ended up ordering Queso, empanadas, and the Mexican pizza (a gourmet play on Taco Bell). Incredible food, fast service, and beautiful space. I sat on the glass patio and it felt like I was outdoors but without suffering the cold. Highly recommend!!

Brunch was fantastic! We ate and loved the breakfast tacos, tres leches French toast, and the crunch wrap. It was essential to order bottomless mimosas and bottomless frose to wash it all down.

Has recently been featured in Eater so checked it out. The server should pursue an occupation that is a better fit for her personality. The empanadas were good and the guacamole not so much. We had fried chicken and cauliflower tacos…chicken was greasy and the cauliflower just didn’t suit us smothered in some red sauce. Fell way below expectations.

Food and drinks were great, would love it if the big tv showed backround of music videos authentic to the cuisine instead of a red glaring sign, Kristine, our server, may just have been the best we ever had! Very attentive, friendly, knowledgeable, and just went above and beyond our expectations.

Food came out super fast. Kind of a new experience for us…super beautiful but casual atmosphere but with gourmet food. Drink presentation is pretty, wish they had larger drinks to share like they share the food. Watermelon ceviche and empanadas were a hit also the spicy Caesar and Mexican Pizza omg.

Beautiful space, friendly service, and the food was some of the first truly authentic Mexican food I’ve had in the city. Margaritas have all fresh squeezed juices! Make sure to try the ceviche and any of the tacos!

I love Mister Oso in Denver, and Mister Oso in New Orleans did not disappoint. Same great service and food! The restaurant itself is really neat and stylish, lots of fun patterns and colors. The food was phenomenal; we got the birria tacos and the spicy caesar salad and both were excellent. Will definitely be back!

When I tell you from the entrance to the last bite this place is Top Tier. Barcadia is no more and Mister Oso Nola is now King. This full service Latin restaurant offers many different options that are flavorful and complement each other.

Such delicious food and gorgeous inside! Fried chicken tacos and guac are a necessity, also got a scoop of both chocolate & cream cheese ice cream for dessert. Cocktails are strong and one of a kind. I will be back soon!!

The service was fantastic! Drinks were great. Food was really delicious, but everything packed a little more heat than we expected, not to the discredit of the restaurant AT ALL, just be prepared for it (not so much spicy, but like heat from peppers). We went on a Sunday evening, several hours after the Saints had a home game and it was not packed but it was pretty loud (music). We were seated near the back of the restaurant where the entrance to the club is located, so that was a factor. About halfway through our meal, the club music was switched on to play in the restaurant as well, and we couldn’t speak/hear each other anymore. We are probably not the target clientele because this place is new and trendy and we aren’t super young anymore. I also think if we had gone any time besides after a Saints win it might have been more pleasant. So in summary, drinks, food, service = big YES. Noise, ambiance, vibe = loud and cooler than me.

The restaurant was overall great. The drinks are so delicious. If I want to experience just good drinks I would go back. Unfortunately, the food was not good at all due to a severe lack in seasoning. New Orleans native will struggle to like the food until there is an adjustment in preparation. After so many let downs, my company simply decided to pay our bill, leave the food as is, thank the restaurant for their service and find somewhere else to eat. Due to the location, it’s a bit pricey so we did waste money not eating anything ordered outside of the first taste.

Queso with green chorizo and the coconut rice were the hits on the app side. Empanadas a must. We went with the Mojo pork tacos. Our table didn’t drink booze, but I saw the table next to us with these glass bear jars filled with a libation that the other guests were raving over. Space is gorgeous and server was fun and friendly!

First visit to Mr. Oso's. Margaritas were good and probably the highlight of the visit. Queso was watery and we questioned whether it was canned stadium cheese spiced up a bit. It was not impressive at all but we were hungry and qucikly ate the handful of chips that were brought in the small bowl. We were only able to eat 1/3 of the cheese with the chips that were sent out. I requested more chips but those never came. The smoked shrimp tacos were tasty but the pepita salsa was overwhelming and overpowered the flavor of the fresh, smoked shrimp. The ambiance was nice but the bench lacked any sort of back padding or lumbar support. In the end, the server made the queso right and deducted from the bill. I may give this place some time to mature and try again for a happy hour since the dfrinks were the best part of the visit.

Visited Mister Oso and tried a range of dishes. Highlights were the sangria and empandadas. The sangria was actually quite delicious, but the portion pretty small due to the ice and garnishes. The renowned coconut rice, which earned their Denver location a Michelin star, was just okay - I liked it... it was fine. I wouldn't say it's Michelin-worthy. While I didn't dislike anything, most items didn't particularly stand out. If you're looking for value, I'd recommend Val's, Barracuda, or Rum House over this. Wouldn't mind returning, but it's not on my must-visit list.
