Join us on Tuesday, June 24th, for a memorable evening celebrating the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance, a pillar of global conservation since 1916. Guests will enjoy a specially curated menu featuring vintage-inspired cuisine priced as it was in 1965. The Blue Room will host a special display highlighting the Alliance’s enduring legacy and its vital role in wildlife preservation. This ticketed event is $60 per person, with all proceeds directly supporting the San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance’s ongoing mission to protect animals and their habitats. All food menu items will reflect 1965 menu prices, but alcohol and other beverages will be available at 2025 menu pricing. Dress Code: Black Tie Elegance

Offered Sunday through Wednesday from 4:00 PM to 6:30 PM, Apéritif at Mister A’s is a weekday early-evening experience designed to help guests unwind, indulge, and savor. Inspired by the European tradition of enjoying a light pre-dinner drink or small meal, this offering pairs signature dishes with curated beverages at a remarkable value—available exclusively in our Bar & Lounge, with one offering per guest. Each day features a distinct culinary highlight. On Sunday, guests can enjoy our Prime Rib Roast—a 12 oz cut served with a baked potato, scallion cream, and carrot glacé—paired with a glass of wine for $55. Monday brings the Maine Lobster Roll, nestled in house-made brioche with lemon aioli and Yukon gold potato chips, served with a cocktail or local beer for $30. Tuesday Toast invites guests to sample Mister A’s classics, featuring a duo ($20) or trio ($25) of Caesar salad, truffle fries, and a classic martini—with the option to upgrade to caviar fries for an additional $20. Wednesday celebrates the Wagyu Burger, layered with caramelized onion, smoked bacon, raclette cheese on a house-made bun, served with a vanilla milkshake or a .394 Pale Ale for $25. Guests may add booze to their shake for an extra $7.50. To finish on a sweet note, we offer a Tiramisu Shot—a delightful combination of marsala, mascarpone mousse, and biscuit—for just $5. A 4% surcharge is added to help provide competitive wages and healthcare for our full-time employees, and a 21% service charge will be applied to groups of seven or more.

I always love that Mister A's is consistent in their excellent service, quality of food, and ambience which is not jarringly loud which I get so tired of in other restaurants. Classic and Classy.

Everything was amazing. Everyone really made the night special. Our server was extremely knowledgeable of the menu and help us create a magical and unforgettable night.

Went to four different places this week while at a conference. Mr A's was overpriced compared to other dining locations offering similar menu items. It is unique in that the planes are landing right in front of you. Service wasn't good. Maybe the waitress was new. Great wine list though. Disappointed on this visit in general. We will likely stick to waterfront places with similar food and much better value and service. Had a better time and experience at all the other places.

Amazing restaurant. The food was fantastic. The view is amazing. We were able to get such a welcome greeting from the staff and really felt like this was a special experience. LOVE Mister A's

What an amazing experience! As a person who’s younger but was looking for something that not only stood out in ambience, aesthetics, and experience but also food that was just as palatable. Mr. As did not disappoint from the Moment my date and I walked in we were greeted with a warm welcome and seated quickly. Everything from the mussels, to the braised short ribs, lamb and Brussels sprouts was fresh hot and delectable. Our server Grace was very knowledgeable about the menu and drinks and was very helpful and attentive but did not hover. Service was excellent. Overall , there is a reason Mr. As has been a go to restaurant for 65 years. Will definitely be back!

Candle quit working-3 men ignored me. …moved it to the side rather than fix the problem. We sat outside-propane warmers worked well enough. I had to ask to be put on waiting list for my son’s bday. Of course, NO one from restaurant ever called me. I wound up finding reservation on my own. Food needs more seasoning. Gross tapioca mush presented for free bday dessert

Had an amazing experience at Mister A's. The view was breathtaking. I was nervous it would be too cold but they had the warmers perfectly placed to wear I could even take my jacket off and be comfortable. The service was excellent very attentive. I order the tenderloin with the Gorgonzola crust my steak was cook perfectly. It was pair with almost like a has brown (wasn't my favorite) but I did get a side of their Brussel sprouts and carbonara Mac and cheese so good! Food and experience was worth the price
