                  The food at the BBQ was delicious and plentiful with several main options. The band was too loud for the space.

                  Unfortunately the hamburgers were cold and we had brought new members with us that experienced it and complained. The volunteers were very gracious and helpful, but our friends said that this was the third time that they’ve had this problem when coming to our Elks in Mission Viejo and didn’t think they’d be returning, plus there was no dessert. The Band was entertaining which was the best of their day visiting and enjoying our Elks Mission Viejo!

                  I've asked Rick Moscoso many times if he could please suggest to the kitchen staff that they vary the monthly menu. It is SO BORING to have the SAME ITEMS EVERY SINGLE MONTH. PLEASE Google 'how to cook for groups of 50+' or somewhere else to find easy, delicious meals that would provide a MUCH NEEDED VARIETY to the menu!! (I think it would also help increase attendance--have you noticed that the number of people going to Friday nights dinners has steadily decreased recently? The boring menu could be a contributing factor!) There have been times when I specifically DON'T GO to Friday nights because of the boring, repetitive dinners being served.                   We went for the shrimp boil and everything was delicious. The band was fantastic but too loud for inside.

                  It was a shrimp boil and there was no shrimp. They ran out very quickly and before we went up for food

                  The dining room was very crowded! This created slow delivery of food to the table; however, the food was hot and delicious. Noise level was very high.

                  I normally love the bbq ribs; however, this time they were not as tender. The steak fries were great as was the coleslaw.
