   Went for an Anniversary dinner. Service was very good. I thought this would be good because it's in the Four Seasons hotel on the Mississippi River. Seated toward the back next to two large tables. They were so loud, our waiter apologized for the noise. Ambience was very lacking, which was a surprise to us. Roasted oysters were not good. Much rather Drago's charbroiled. I had Filet Mignon tenderloins, which was good. Wife had redfish, which was also good. The noise ruined the whole night. I apologized to my wife for picking this restaurant on our anniversary. Big disappointment!

   Extremely grateful to Treasure and Jamie for ensuring that my birthday dinner was pleasurable and preferential seating was provided! Great ambiance and friendly atmosphere! Favorite foods are the sweet potato brioche, Louisiana crawfish strudel, blackened gulf snapper, and filet mignon tournedos.

   All 6 of us enjoyed our meals. Very unique and great flavors. As enjoyable was the staff. Every single person was responsive and personal. Frankly I don’t leave reviews often so a meal really has to stand out. This one did.

   Everything was phenomenal! I spent my birthday here last night and the four seasons and Miss River staff made it a very special night. The food was incredible, I only felt the Duck Gulbo was a tad on the bitter side but everything else was incredible

    Great meal at one of my favorite brunch spots. Had the seafood on the half shell, bread service- (way too much bread for a party of 2 and the amount of food we were ordering. Prefer one piece like they used to provide.) Eggs crème de la crème - my absolute favorite, it melts in your mouth and bursts with flavors. I’m so glad they brought it back on the menu. Steak and Eggs: Maybe they should have asked how to prepare…The steak was well done and not to my taste. Accompaniments were good. Praline bacon was yummy. Those Eggs Crème de La Créme, still thinking about it!

    The food was overpriced for what we were served. We did not feel like the options reflected an elegant brunch. In addition, my husband was served a raw biscuit, yuck. Service was great but that is the only positive thing I can say.

    Won’t be back. Ambiance and design was stunning. Service was quick. But there were lots of hidden fees and food was not worth the money in our opinion. I would just head up stairs to the bar for snacks and drinks.

    The ambience is very nice walking in; however, we waited 30 minutes before we were sat down for our reservation. They did give us a complimentary appetizer to make up for it. The service was ok, nothing spectacular and the food took quite a while to be brought out, especially between appetizers and entrees. The appetizers were very good and the crawfish strudel had a strong crawfish, aroma and flavor. However, the crab Maison salad had a very heavy saucers, covered most of the crab. The dirty rice was kind of metallic but very flavorful and the fried chicken was ok but nothing to write home about. The redfish was very flavorful but the shrimp and mussels did not taste the most fresh.

    Our favorite restaurant in New Orleans. Food was fabulous as always! Only complaint is $6.00 for extra 10 crackers is a bit much when paying $100+ per person for lunch!

    This is our second Tulane graduation and second time celebrating at Miss River. Both were outstanding experiences. The first was a large group dinner and the most recent a lunch for four. Both times the service was impeccable. We must have had a staff of four attending to us. Reminds me of old school restaurant service. The food was exceptional both times. At lunch we had the crab salad and gumbo appetizers, then filet mignon, muffuletta sandwich, and ham and cheese beignets. All fabulous. Finished with a baked Alaska - Gluten Free! The surprise was a visit by Chef Shaya in the dining room! He was so gracious visiting all the tables. He did not rush - and it was a wonderful way for us to say thank you after seven years in NOLA going to his restaurants every time. We will miss this!

    The food at Miss River is excellent and very well prepared and presented. The experience would have been lovely, but the service we received from Juan pushed it right over the top into an extraordinary lunch. He was so personable and attended to our request about timing so one of our guests could get her entree at the same time as the rest got their appetizers, and we requested an item off the kids menu - it seemed no matter what we asked, he would make it happen. Then he presented us with a couple of lagniappes that made it even more special. Maybe everyone gets the sweet potato rolls. Maybe everyone gets the tiny praline bites at the end. But we felt that he was taking extra special care of us. And by the way, the French fries are the most delicious, crispy fries ever! Alon Shaya has another winner here!     This was our first visit to Shaya's Miss River. As expected, the food was outstanding. Prices are steep, for sure, but expected being located in the new Four Seasons Hotel. Our waiter was good, but at least one of the support staff was in a hurry to remove a dish from our table that we hadn't finished. My only issue was making a reservation on Open Table. The app showed 6:15 PM as the latest time slot which was definitely earlier than we preferred. While we were there and when we left around 7:45, only about 30% of tables were occupied. I'm not sure if that is a Miss River or Open Table issue. Having said that, I would certainly recommend Miss River to friends who don't mind the prices.

    Great weekend brunch with great food and vibes. Only negative is we had to ask to be moved - reservations made weeks earlier and they seat us in the back room behind a curtain and facing a wall. We’re very well dressed and no reason for this. Walk-ins seated on the main floor. When a table opened that we could see on the main area, we asked to be moved only to be told that ones reserved! Well what about us? Finally moved us but left me with a bad initial impression.

    Cocktails were very good and we enjoyed the appetizers. The server was great. The fried pork chop was dry. The curry vegetable was ok sauce but pretty slim mixture of vegetables. It certainly wouldn’t be a balanced vegetarian dish. Blackened gulf snapper was moist but not very spicy for being called blackened. Overall, I would say food was average, not what I would expect for the price.

    Spectacular food but awful service. It took 45 minutes just to get served a round of drinks, and they didn’t even take our food order during that time. Incredible meal but none of us would return and go through that again. Took almost 4 hours.
