    This was a horrible experience. Shocking that it was a Four Seasons affiliated restaurant. This isn’t the first time we’ve encountered poor service here. However, it is the first time we’ve encountered both poor service AND bland cuisine. We even pulled in the assistant manager, who was inept and incapable of dealing with the smallest of issues. The restaurant’s “mea culpa” was comping our group two appetizers - outrageous. We spent nearly a grand, as we always do. We will not be dining here again and recommend potential diners not waste their time or money. The dishes have been watered down. The service is equal to that of a chain restaurant - perhaps even worse. Never again. BEWARE!

    Restaurant was busy to full, and service was extremely slow. Waiting for water refills was slightly irritating. Server was super friendly, though. Wonder if they were just understaffed that night. Also had a nightmare trying to split checks which was eventually resolved. I will say the food was excellent. We had the chicken and dirty rice shared to the table. Had the BBQ shrimp and crawfish strudel apps. Everything ordered was excellent. That strudel blew me away. Couldn’t order a real entree after that because I was full. Cocktails were $22, and the flamed espresso martini was $30 which sounds absurd. Just keep in mind this is the restaurant inside of the Four Seasons hotel. Alon Shaya is one heck of a chef. I will recommend this restaurant for nicer occasions, but just maybe avoid touristy weekend such as Jazz Fest and Zurich Classic.

    Always love going to Miss River. Would like to see a more eclectic menu from Chef Shaya.

    Very nice Easter brunch experience. The food and beverages were excellent as usual. The Easter bunny and egg hunt for the kids was a nice touch.

    We celebrated our anniversary here, we loved it!! Ryan was an excellent server, he was so attentive and friendly much like all of the staff there. The drinks were unique & the food was spectacular. They decorated the dessert plate to say happy anniversary and it was brought out with a sparkler. Ryan really made us and our anniversary feel so special! Thank you to him and the whole team over at Miss River!

    Our group got a lovely booth in the restaurant after changing tables for our reservation. Our waiter and staff were attentive. The signature fried chicken dish was delicious… not greasy and accompanied by tasty sauces. It was perfect for our party of 5. We supplemented with the green curry vegetables, asparagus and rice. The sweet potato brioche was a great starter, too. My Side Car cocktail was very good. Fun night out with the girls!

    We had absolutely wonderful service, from the host to our waiter they made it a wonderful experience. The food was cooked perfectly and there wasn’t a long wait. It’s a gorgeous venue with a great location and I look forward to returning. We ordered a few different entrees and shared. They also brought out some small desserts on the house. Highly recommend the moonwalk cocktail if you prefer a milder drink

    We chose Miss River to celebrate my husband's 60th birthday. From the time we walked in, there was something off about the vibe. Although the restaurant was nearly empty, we were seated next to the servers' computer/drink stand and near the bar. The booth portion of our table was stained and pitted with other markings. The table was also scarred and not entirely clear. The menus looked as though small children had colored on the fronts. We ordered a drink (nothing my husband would drink) and food. While our server was perfectly polite and nice, she seemed distracted and unhappy. Our food came very, very quickly, each course on top of the one before. We were finished and ready to leave in less than 45 minutes. Although we did not order dessert as we really just wanted to leave, the server did bring beignets, and as we walked out the door after paying, the bartender called out that she had a drink for my husband. I really think the servers were doing their best, but it seemed everyone working there was deeply unhappy. Also, the cost of the meal was exorbitant in light of the overall poor quality. My steak was barely adequate; the only thing I enjoyed was the bread service. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant to anyone, and most certainly not to someone looking to celebrate a special occasion!
