I took my children here for the $50 Kids Pizza Making Class. Chef Aleck was simply phenomenal with all the mini-chefs! His sous chef and the wait staff were incredibly helpful and responsive as well. While the kids made their pizzas, my husband and I sat nearby enjoying oysters, blue crab, the maison salad, and sweet potato bread. It was a memorable experience, from top to bottom, for the kids and grown ups alike! I highly recommend this experience if you’re looking for fun, unique things to do with your kids in New Orleans

We went for brunch and the atmosphere was amazing with the live band but the food is not worth the value. We got the “pro rated brunch” and it was 80.00 for fried chicken/biscuit and an appertizer. The value isn’t there for us, we love the other restaurant in the hotel but it’s just not somewhere we will visit again.

Delectable meals. Wonderful service. Beautiful atmosphere and art. Highly recommend! Completely unrelated, but the lotion in the ladies room is divine. I’m on the hunt to find out what it is so I can buy it by the gallon!

We had brunch there on Friday. The service and the ambiance were amazing!! The food not so much. $61.00 for a bland small crab dip, oyster app was maybe a C- Our two entrees were C+. $400 for below average food!! We won’t be back. I guess you’re paying for the name, Four Seasons, which is fine but the food should be top notch!! Worst and most expensive meal of the trip. We ate at Chop house, Brennans, GW Fins. Do better and charge less!!

I had such high expectations for Miss River. The ambience and aesthetics were amazing. The greeter and server were nice however, the food we ordered wasn’t great. The food was very bland. Being a restaurant located in New Orleans that offers southern dishes, I expected flavor! The red beans were mushy and tasteless. The duck and andouille gumbo tasted like burnt brown gravy. The boudin sausage tasted like a store bought sausage but the price reflected “world class homemade sausage”. Overall the food was a 1/10. The only thing my guests enjoyed were the French fries. Also, we asked for additional crackers at the table and were charged 12 dollars for 12 crackers without a prior notice of the price. The server also added an additional 21 dollars to the tab ( cost of three sprites) for requesting light ice with a sprite. When I asked why are additional sprites added to the tab, he said it was because we requested light ice and he opened an additional can of sprite to fill the glass. I dine at high-end restaurant often and do not mind paying for quality food and service, but the price at miss river isn’t reflective of the food’s quality. Overpriced!

Food was amazing - get the mushroom toast & red beans and rice. Our server, Ryan, had amazing recommendations for both the menu and other local places in New Orleans. 10/10 recommend.
