A Chef Chris Kajioka restaurant that debuted in 2020 in partnership with San Francisco-based chef, Mourad Lahlou, called Miro Kaimuki.

The restaurant is located in the space which formerly housed Honolulu's venerable Café Miro for 23 years. Similar to its predecessor, Miro Kaimuki features a French-inspired menu punctuated with Japanese flavors and techniques. The restaurant is a reunion for chefs Kajioka and Lahlou who first worked together at San Francisco's Aziza and Mourad.

Miro Kaimuki is no longer accommodating strict allergies or vegan diets. Pescatarians and Vegetarians are welcome.

Our prix fixe menu is available Wednesday through Sunday. Reservations are required. Parking is located behind the restaurant on 9th Ave. If full, street parking is available. If you are running late, please call the restaurant. We will hold your table for 15 minutes before the cancellation fee applies. For parties of 1-3, we allow for up to 2 hours for dinner; for parties of four or more 2.5 hours. Please contact us at info@mirokaimuki.com for reservation inquiries for parties of 7 or more. A 20% gratuity may added for parties of 5 or more. Reservations are available 30 days in advance. Cancellation Policy: $50 per person if cancelled within 24 hours of your reservation

Wow! Absolutely incredible dining experience with super innovative dishes and an impressive wine pairing. Every dish was divine and the staff were fantastic and extremely interactive. Highly recommend it to anyone.

We’ve been going to Miro for nearly 3 years I think. Everyone there is so polite, attentive, accommodating. They know exactly what we like and enjoy. May 2025’s menu was the best overall that I’ve had there! We met a new to us employee, Kat, she was so friendly and helpful. The staff there always makes us feel a part of the family.

Fine dining at times can run the risk of being stuffy, of not encapsulating the feeling of hospitality, the feeling of being warm, safe, relaxed, and nourished. As soon as my date and I stepped through the doors, we were greeted with warm smiling faces. The staff wasn’t running around frantically, but moved gracefully and purposefully. Never were we lacking a refill, or needing an empty plate or dirty utensil to be bussed. Each staff member came by to check in appropriately, making us feel taken care of by the whole restaurant and not just one server. They were also attentive to let us have our own private moments and conversations. As for the drinks and food, each sip and bite was spectacular! I had a non alcoholic cocktail that was perfectly crafted. My date had a perfectly recommended glass of Riesling. Each course left me at the same time satisfied, surprised, and wanting more. I really lack the words to say how excellent I found this month’s menu. But honestly that’s par for the course for Miro. Any time I’m in Hawaii I will be making a point to come back!
