Chef John Keller oversees the menu at Minnie’s, which is comprised of bright, flavorful dishes inspired by owner Millie Stallings' family recipes. Mediterranean-influenced American plates like smoked cauliflower fritto with harissa yogurt, fresno peppers and jalapeño; farro pearls with spring vegetables, mint, pine nuts and pistachio; and roasted half chicken with lemon-sofrito marinade round out the wholesome menu. Dessert is a family affair: the pink cake is a Stallings birthday staple, and the cookies are baked by Millie’s sister, Cooper.

Was looking for something in Lower East and booked Minnie's based on Open Table reviews. The smoked cauliflower was terrific. Our server suggested adding salmon to the quinoa dish and that was an amazing blend of flavors. Small quirky restaurant with interesting menu and great service. Very loud when full.

The salmon and chicken dinners were the best my party had ever had. The vegetables were cooked superbly and the gravy (came w the chicken) was fantastic. Grilled sourdough was like eating a croissant. Amazing food.

Horrible experience. They declined to honor my reservation, and said that if I want to have my table, I have to give it back to them within 30 min even though there were so many tables available. Attached is a photo.

Love this place!! Somewhat still a hidden gem. Always delicious and great/friendly service, not one of those stuffy NYC brunch places that is trying too hard to be cool. It just IS cool! And has great food - can't skip the choc chip pancakes! so fluffy and amazzzzzzzing
