A boutique family owned gastronomic restaurant on the South Coast of NSW. We offer a 3 course lunch & dinner menu ($110pp) with optional wine pairing ($50pp).

Head Chef Matteo Ponti brings close to two decades of experience shaped by his roots in the Italian countryside and a global culinary journey. Originally from Piedmont, Matteo earned his first Michelin star at the age of thirty while leading a contemporary Italian kitchen in Singapore, where he spent a decade refining his craft.

His menu at Mimosa is more than a collection of dishes — it's a personal journey. From the traditions of rural Italy, through the vibrant markets of Southeast Asia, to the native produce of the South Coast of NSW, each plate tells a story of season, memory, and travel. Mimosa's 3-course menu was an absolute delight and among the best food we've had. It is incredible value and the kitchen's skill is on display with both premium and humble ingredients combined while feeling luxurious. Dessert's were a real highlight and we loved every bite.

The food is just magnificent and the service fantastic. Just take it slow on the Tathra Bermagui road at night, the wildlife is plentiful.

Stunning. So special when you arrive. Tucked away high, magnificent mountain views, looking down over vineyard. We were made feel so special, quietly, no fuss. Our table was outside, as requested on balcony. The views are breathtaking and can be enjoyed from all tables. We were not rushed and took our time over an absolutely delicious three-course meal. The presentation of each entree, main and dessert got the ‘Wow’ factor and all were cooked to perfection and delicious. The service was excellent, knowledgeable, friendly, no hovering and so nicely timed between courses. Highly recommend for special occasion or whenever you are passing through. We will definitely be back. Congratulations to the chef & staff👏

Our afternoon drinks then dinner were exceptional, we couldn’t fault anything! Afternoon views were stunning, then dinner later with attentive & knowledgeable staff, & 3 magnificent courses - Gurnard, Duck & and a beautifully delicate Raspberry dessert.

Our experience at the restaurant was delightful. The service was professional and friendly, the ancient was lovely and the food was superb. The grounds were lovely - so many roos!

Great new menu with Italian influence and Asian infusion. The food was outstanding, the duck was the best I've had in a long time. Would definitely recommend trying this menu.

The Set Menu was excellent good number of choices for each course. Great waitress each course was described as served and wine pairing perfect. Food was exceptional. Restaurant whilst a bit of a drive was well worth it for great views and lovely ambience. Well worth a visit! Highly recommend

A beautiful location. Calm & peaceful with soft music in the background. A set price menu with 4 options. The food was delicious, the friendly staff explained each dishes ingredients when brought to our table, the deserts were also amazing. The chef made a cup cake size cake as a birthday treat, a nice surprise. We had never had truffle before and a small piece was complimentary at the end of our visit, very tasty and delicious. Will go back for another special occasion.
