   The service was bad. They didn't seem prepared for the Easter crowds at all. The food was also bad. Cold, underprepared, or in the case of ham--dried out. At least one in our party had gastrointestinal problems afterwards. This chain used to be a favorite with great food at good prices. Now it just feels like the owners are trying to get as much money out of it before killing it. After a very long time of going, this was the last visit.

   I reserved Easter Sunday well in advance. When I got there they at us at a table with 3 open booths. When I asked if we could move he said no because larger parties were coming who had reservations so we stayed at our table. He also gave us a prefix lunch menu and no breakfast menu. I asked for breakfast menu and he said we only have lunch. I said you didn’t advertise that on Open Table which is why I booked here. A few minutes later we got a limited option Easter breakfast menu. Our server came and took our order. She was amazing. After almost 20 minutes the booths were still sitting empty so we asked to move and she said yes because we were going to ask if you could move so we could push tables together for a large party.

   Our server, Laura, was exceptionally helpful. She accommodated all our requests. Easter ham special was good.

   Eggs Benedict and potatoes had a bitter taste. Honey bran muffin was good.

   Good food, awful service. The server got my friend's sandwich order wrong and we could not convince her that she was in error. Two people at the table heard my friend give her order, but the server insisted she was right and we were wrong. After three tries to tell the server she got the order wrong, my friend didn't want to make more of a scene, so she gave up and ate a sandwich she didn't really want. Really arrogant server.

   The waiters at Mimi’s Cafe in Mission Valley are the reason I come here! They are super friendly and always remember what I like to eat and how I like it prepared.

    We had a delightful Valentine's anniversary dinner. The three-course meal options were great. Our server Tonya was terrific and recommended the best dessert!
