   Terrible service! It wasn’t busy but we had to request for water to be refilled and for our server to come back several times, despite seeing 5 employees just standing around. Food was alright but the service ruined the experience, especially for a somewhat pricy dinner. We won’t be back.

   My braised short ribs were fatty & tasted horrible. My girlfriend’s salmon was raw/undercooked. Second time eating there. Won’t be back!

   For a mother's day brunch I was exceptionally disappointed in literally everything but the food. My family and I got there early and saw it was busy. We understood it's Mother day and everyone and their literal grandmas were there. It took an hour to sit us down. We were told we could not order off the regular menu. We could "only" order from the mother's day brunch menu (aka: "holiday" menu). Okay fine, but we quickly saw EVERYONE order items from the normal menu. Our appetizer salads took 30 mins to get, the entrees were okay, and the desserts we didn't bother eating at the table because by then my family had been sitting at this restaurant for 4 HOURS. While I had some time waiting on our food, I took my spare time examining the cleanliness of the restaurant-- not clean friends. cobwebs and dead bugs everywhere, especially near the windows. Additionally, when I booked this reservation, it said there was outdoor seating... there was no available option to sit outdoors. I don't know if that was Mimi's or OpenTable's false advertising but also not cool. I'm sure this place is nice and quaint when it's not being bombarded by a crowd of people but for a holiday/special event dining, I would not recommend eating here.

   45 minute wait to be seated for 12:45 reservation. Lipstick on mimosa glass, asked for another glass which arrived piping hot. Bloody Mary advertised with salted rim, wasn’t and also served in a hot glass. Food arrived 45 minutes after order placed. Eggs Benedict served hard boiled. Poor service until we asked for bill then fast turnaround, like they could not wait to cycle someone else in and hustle us out. Total bill for two, $100 for a brunch meal. We will not be returning to this establishment.

   They were overbooked. Our reservation was at 12:30, at 1:30 we’re finally seated in the bar area and then never brought a menu and no server ever approached us. We walked out at 1:36pm. Never again will we book through OpenTable. Will only use a booking company that is through the actual resturant, not a booking company subcontracted out.

   One of the worst restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. Completely ruined my Mother’s Day. I am a very lenient person and can give a lot of grace for a lot of reasons, but this was just too much. I’m 45 and I’ve never had such a bad experience that I have left a $0 tip, but this was it. No matter what I would have left a tip if it seemed out of the servers control, but in this case it seemed 90% server related. And yes, I’ve worked in the industry. I know how it works.

   It was another wonderful experience at Mimi’s Cafe. Especially getting the chance to treat my mother to an early Mother’s Day breakfast. All in all it was excellent as always.
