   Tucked away upstairs in the same building as Local Foods in Rice Village, Milton's gives cool Rat Pack vibes serving delicious Italian fare with a bit of a Texas twist. Cocktails were on point, too. Our party of 4 dined on a Friday night with reservations at 8p. We were seated immediately upon arrival in a very swish booth that allowed a peek at the kitchen. Our server promptly appeared to take our drink order, but we decided to wait for the rest of our party of 4 to arrive before ordering. Service was attentive when it came, but was a bit slow at times. That may have been more a matter of the kitchen/bar being on the small size and it was busy when we arrived. Also, I've been told I can be impatient when waiting for a glass of wine after a long week. In addition to entrees, wine and cocktails, we had an appetizer and a dessert. We did score a free second dessert, so I feel the waitstaff/manager was aware of the small glitch in service and made up for it. Overall, a good experience. We'll definitely be back!

   It was our first visit. We made a reservation and were seated promptly. The service was attentive, the waitress answered questions about the ingredients and dishes we did not know, the food was excellent. The restaurant was crowded and somewhat noisy, in a good way. It's not cheap, but A+ for service, food, and decor. It may be our new favorite Italian place! They showed us Lee's, the bar next door. It looked very attractive, too.

   A really fantastic meal from start to finish. Appetizers outstanding. Please try the parsley salad. Main courses and wine were delicious and our waiter was outstanding from start to finish. Milton’s has soul.

   The most enjoyable dining experience since we dined at March restaurant in 2024. Everything was perfect with amazing ambiance, sound, service ( thank you Ms. Kim!) and of course, the cuisine. Keep up the creativity, execution and presentation. Thank you.

   We celebrated a birthday at Milton’s, and from the moment we walked in, we were smitten. The staff greeted us with warmth and kindness, setting the tone for an unforgettable evening. Since our table wasn’t quite ready, we were invited to the charming upstairs bar, where we were welcomed by friendly bartenders and treated to delicious cocktails. Once seated, the real magic began. We were offered a complimentary appetizer and decided to sample several dishes from the menu: the garlic knots, lamb skewers, baked clams, veal parmesan, and the lasagna of the day—short rib. Every bite exceeded expectations. The food was outstanding—fresh, flavorful, and authentically prepared. Our server, Kim, was a gem—attentive, knowledgeable, and always on top of things, making sure our glasses were never empty. We ended the night on a sweet note with a complimentary birthday dessert and affogato. Milton’s absolutely won us over, and we can’t wait to return and explore more of the menu.

   Milton's does everything perfectly--the food, the drinks, the atmosphere, and the service. Houston has an overwhelming number of excellent restaurants, but my friends and I cannot resist Milton's.

   I had broiled oysters and they were delicious. I had dinner with a 5:00 reservation. Since the restaurant was not crowded, I would have appreciated less noise from the music; a/c not so cold. Food, service, and atmosphere were fine.

   Spectacular service and delicious food. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, especially Chelsea.

   Small venue with great food, service and ambiance. Strongly recommend for romantic/intimate dinner or small groups.

    Their pasta dishes are excellent. Made with fresh ingredients. The heart of palm and parsley salads were unusual but delicious.
