Bartender was overwhelmed and un professional. No follow up. Pulling teeth to get service. No set up when eating dinner at the bar. Had to get napkins from table behind us. No salt or pepper. Again trying yo get her attention for water or salt. Waited forever for food and my chicken fish was mediocre at best. . The management should know better than having one bartender on a busy Sunday. Just wanted to relax and have a drink and dinner but atmosphere was far from relaxing

We had a delicious lunch at a deck table overlooking high tide on the pond. I had the new swordfish dish and it was delicious. The renovation has transformed the interior too.

I’ve been going to the Mill Pond for 40 years so I was interested in seeing what the rejuvenation would bring. Overall, the dining experience was excellent, service (Erin) was over the top, but the noise was so loud, I couldn’t hear what my partner was saying.

The just redecorated the place. It looked smaller. It was 88 degrees and the main dining room was not air conditioned. I mean I get it by the lake but fans didn’t do it But the AC on. You can still see the lake with plastic windows drawn. The heat took away from experience

The only reason this place is rated 2 stars is because of the ambience. The prices were too high for such small portions. Both of us shared an order of oysters which were the smallest that we’ve had. Then we each had the black seabass special. The portions were so small that it looked like we both shared 1 seabass. A woman at the next table ordered lobster parpadelle and said there was hardly any lobster. It appears that this establishment is trying to recoup the cost of recent renovations because we’ve gone there before and I rated them 5 stars. We would definitely not go back!!’

First time dining at Mill Pond since re-opening after the extensive renovations, which are beautiful by the way. Mill Pond has always been our go-to, favorite restaurant and under the new ownership we will absolutely continue to dine there. The food was outstanding, the waitstaff were professional and highly attentive. Our waiter, Mike was probably the MOST HELPFUL, KNOWLEDGEABLE. FRIENDLY waiter we’ve EVER had and he sincerely enjoyed his job. The bar at the previous Mill Pond was expensive and stingy with their ‘pours’ which was always a bone of contention with us and our friends BUT this new ownership is doing it RIGHT! A bigger pour (hallelujah) and the prices weren’t crazy high. Can’t wait to return in a couple of weeks. Keep doing what you’re doing!!!! Btw: the 2 managers were also outstanding at their job.
