London's plant-based pioneers, the first Mildreds opened in Greek Street, Soho, in 1988, and has since moved over to Lexington Street.

Mildreds is all about fresh, colourful vegan food that’s vibrant and full of flavours. It's six London restaurants, each with their own unique style and personality, offer laid-back and friendly service in a lively atmosphere.

Often surprising and seducing hardened carnivores and with all of their dishes vegan and many gluten free, Mildreds offers a warm welcome to all. Signature dishes include kimchi bokkeumbap, Mushroom ale pot pie, kiri hodi and korean fried chick+n burger.

Located in a townhouse in the heart of Soho, the recently refurbished Mildreds is spread over 3 floors and offers a stylish private dining space for 10 - 26 people

    We love Mildred’s and this was our first visit to the Soho branch since it was refurbished. While the food was great (although I think my Green Tofu Queen salad was lacking the jalapeños) and the service friendly & efficient, the atmosphere was not ideal given how tightly-packed the tables are on the top floor. Yes, it was an extraordinarily hot evening (our booking was 6pm) and there was a (not very efficient) aircon unit in place, but our table for two might as well have been a table for six, given the proximity to the diners to our right and left. It made the waiting staff’s job pretty challenging, having to lean over the back of one of us to get to the corner table, and it felt very squished overall. It’s a shame because it’s always been a favourite but I’m not sure we will head back in a hurry.

    Staff are lovely. The menu had changed since I last came- I may not have chosen well as the sharing menu which the table next door had for £39 looked nice. I had a dish that said it had peanuts in but i only found two and the rest was beetroot slaw. It was relentless. That was it. Slaw with a small amount of dressing. The red pepper romesco we shared for a starter was nice. I wouldn't rush back but the place was full and everyone seemed happy.

    The service was great and all the food was amazing. We were so full from the meal but we went back after our show for dessert.

    Went with my 2 daughters, one of whom is veggie, the other who loves meat, and we all loved it! Great choice of food. It was all delicious, good portion sizes and variety, and the staff were fab too. Thanks and we will be back!

    Was very busy when we arrived and it took a little while for our table to be ready but we were offered a round of free drinks as an apology! 👏👏 the food was fabulous.. the set menu the best and well worth it! There was so much food! The ambience was buzzy and fun and the service fantastic! Couldnt fault anything really and would definitely recommend!
