London's plant-based pioneers, the first Mildreds opened in Greek Street, Soho, in 1988, and has since moved over to Lexington Street.

Mildreds is all about fresh, colourful vegan food that’s vibrant and full of flavours. It's six London restaurants, each with their own unique style and personality, offer laid-back and friendly service in a lively atmosphere.

Often surprising and seducing hardened carnivores and with all of their dishes vegan and many gluten free, Mildreds offers a warm welcome to all. Signature dishes include kimchi bokkeumbap, Mushroom ale pot pie, kiri hodi and korean fried chick+n burger.

Located in a townhouse in the heart of Soho, the recently refurbished Mildreds is spread over 3 floors and offers a stylish private dining space for 10 - 26 people

We had a fun night and it was a great vibe. Some of the staff were just on the wrong side of having fun at work and we had to ask several times for certain things. But the food was great. The cauliflower is to die for and we enjoyed ourselves.

Mildreds made 7 100% plants based vegans very happy indeed! Excellent menu choices and all totally delicious. The whole experience was, more or less, perfect, just one small thing, service could have been quicker. However, we all really enjoyed the evening, the atmosphere was very buzzy, made it a tad difficult for some of the older ones to enjoy conversation but that happens in lots of places. We will def be back on our next trip to London. Thanks Mildreds a great discovery for us!

Food and atmosphere were nice however 2 of the meals were incorrect so had to wait for replacements while half the table had their food already and the entrees did not arrive at all.

First time and I thought the food was outstanding! It was very busy and we were on the top floor. I would have preferred the ground floor. However the food and service made up for that. The reason for the 4 stars is that I had mentioned when booking that it was a birthday celebration and if I hadn’t mentioned it in person to the waitress while my husband was in the toilet, it would not have been done. In fact the couple beside us had finished their dinner and her birthday was also yesterday but she did not get a birthday celebration. So, unfortunately I think as it’s so busy and popular, those little special things are missed. Just a thought. Again it was the best meal I have had in ages.

Wonderful vegan food. Inventive, creative, always something new being added, Mildred's, and their sister restaurant Mallow, are our favourite London restaurants

Delicious food, a great choice, very good service and a nice atmosphere. I’m not vegan, or even vegetarian but love coming here.
