London's plant-based pioneers, the first Mildreds opened in Greek Street, Soho, in 1988, and has since moved over to Lexington Street.

Mildreds is all about fresh, colourful vegan food that’s vibrant and full of flavours. It's six London restaurants, each with their own unique style and personality, offer laid-back and friendly service in a lively atmosphere.

Often surprising and seducing hardened carnivores and with all of their dishes vegan and many gluten free, Mildreds offers a warm welcome to all. Signature dishes include kimchi bokkeumbap, Mushroom ale pot pie, kiri hodi and korean fried chick+n burger.

Located in a townhouse in the heart of Soho, the recently refurbished Mildreds is spread over 3 floors and offers a stylish private dining space for 10 - 26 people

    Mildred's is a firm favourite for our family and we have dined at the Covent 'Garden location several times. We chose to dine at the Soho restaurant because we wanted to be closer to some vibrant bars and clubs afterwards to celebrate my daughter's birthday. the atmosphere was lively, which was nice, gave the room a good vibe,. We enjoyed the starters/small plates, which were the highlight of our meal. Sadly, the main courses and desserts were disappointing and the service, whilst warm and friendly was slow at the start of our meal. I think it will be a while before we return to Mildred's Soho.

    Dangerously overcrowded. Extra table inserted in upstairs front area made exiting impossible and hellish conditions for the serving staff. Broke all fire regs with luggage and chairs left at the top of the stairs. Management needs some training! Food good but we couldn’t wait to get out ….. had to climb over everything including other guests . Hideous. Won’t go again.

    I think the main problem was that the food wasn't very good. We ordered several dishes. Almost all of them just tasted bad. I think the kitchen thought just make it spicy, and we don't have to worry about anything else. The romesco was above average and the Paratha (which tasted like malawach) was tolerable. The next day we went to Prezzo which had enough veggie options and tasted a lot better.

    Food was just excellent and I will go back for it. The noise level though was too high and it was hard to hear the friends that I was dining with.. and we were there to catch up. So we had to leave as soon as we ate so we could catch up. Probably intentional for more table turnover. It was all quite rushed.

    Fabulous dinner at Mildred’s. Although it was a little noisy in the dining area which made it hard to hear at times the food made up for it - we had the tasting dinner and it was delicious. I loved the dips and the curry was yummy. Very filling but I didn’t feel heavy. Not a place for a quiet romantic dinner but I will definitely return!

    My wife and I have been traveling for nearly 2 weeks now and this restaurant Mildred’s which we came across on the last night of our travels was the best experience we had during our travels. It is completely vegan, but the food is amazingly tasty. We ordered the tasting menu, which gave us a bit of everything or I must say a lot more than a bit of everything because we could not eat half of what we were served the portions were plentiful and delicious. The vibe at Mildred‘s is amazing and the staff is super friendly. They like to talk and joke. I would highly recommend eating at Mildred‘s Soho restaurant in London (they do have about five other locations in London )

    Despite arriving early we were greeted warmly and given a table in minutes. Staff were charming and helpful, explained the dishes ( we were first timers to Mildreds) and served us with a smile. The food was delicious - the best houmous ever and my friends mushroom pie was superb. I've already booked a return visit.

    Every dish on the menu had sugar in it and a preservative Sulfur dioxide which is not good for health .. shocked! Disappointed! What has happened to Mildreds?

    I try to visit Mildreds whenever I am in London. I have always received a friendly welcome, efficient service and, of course, wonderful food. It does get a little noisy when full and there is not a lot of space - it is cosy! But all of that is worth it for the broad menu, covering all tastes - but essentially vegan. I don't have to compromise and I know that all items on the menu have been selected to have wide appeal. All my carnivore friends when accompanying me have praised that quality of the food.
